Because this kitchen is not that spacious, so we use the minibar as an additional dining table area, besides that I also added a round table with two minimalist Korean-style chairs, I deliberately chose a small dining table, so that it doesn't take up much space, so that I can still move freely,

As soon as you open the main door you can immediately see a cafe-style mini bar. Having this mini bar is one of my wishlist. Apart from functioning as a cafe-style dining area, it also acts as a barrier between the kitchen and living room. It's simple but the function is so real.
This table is made of concrete with a height of 100cm, a width of 40cm and a length of 280cm, paired with black granite combined with teak wood bar chairs so it looks more minimalist. Hopefully it can be an inspiration for those whose houses are small but still want to have a special place to eat like me.

We applied this mini bar design because we like Japanese style design, besides the kitchen size is only 2x3 meters. Navy and wood colors are the characteristics of this house.
The presence of wood material makes the room look warm and adds to the appeal of the kitchen. We also applied a mini bar as a sweetener as well as a dining room area and a partition between the kitchen area and the TV area so that our room has an open space concept.
To beautify the mini bar, we added aesthetic hanging lights and hanging flowers on the side. This place is a favorite spot for families.

If yesterday we saw the bar table from the living room, this time we see the bar table from inside the kitchen, it turns out that there is still a table that is shorter than the bar table and we use it to store the food we have cooked, rice cooker, plates, spoons and kitchen utensils that are commonly used such as cutting boards and knives. This table also functions for us to prepare food that will be served to the bar table. Both are made of solid cast concrete coated with black granite.

✨ Open Kitchen & Mini Dining Room
Our kitchen is located at the back of the house. From the living room, you can immediately see the back area, where the kitchen and indoor garden are located.
We utilize the remaining 4x7m land into one open area that we use as a kitchen, coffee corner, laundry room, storage room and garden.
Our kitchen has a U-shape, to add space for the food prep area and mini bar. Next to the kitchen is an area that we use as a coffee corner & a place to store our sports needs.
We usually do activities in this entire area, coincidentally across from the kitchen is a multipurpose area. A place for children to play while looking at the indoor garden at home.
Hopefully our kitchen layout can inspire friends who have limited space at home.

We made the kitchen and mini bar area at Kei House minimalist, inspired by Japanese-style houses with a combination of white and wooden accents that dominate.
We added a bar table in this area to sweeten the appearance of the kitchen area and make it look more aesthetic. A tip to make the room look more compact is that we don't put a lot of items in this area.
This mini bar area is my and my husband's favorite place, because here we can spend quality time while relaxing drinking coffee ☕️

🔅H O M E-C A F E🔅
The story is that in this limited mini pantry space, my husband wanted a cafe-style hangout spot. So he customized this mini bar table at his regular Dutch teak carpenter with a size of 165cm x 45cm. The table top is made of Dutch teak, while the legs are made of hollow iron painted black. The high chair was also customized at the same place.

The open space concept makes it easier for us to interact, this room divider which also doubles as a dining table is one of our favorite places. Apart from being used for eating, this place is sometimes used as a work area or just for coffee and chatting with my husband.
