We have occupied this house for 8 months. We decided to look for a house in Solo because my previous job was handling a team & the Solo city area & its surroundings, while my husband also has a business in Solo. So we looked for a trusted housing developer in this city & chose a cluster according to the budget with a KPR system. With consideration of security, facilities, and a Compact & Minimalist building design that is considered easier to decorate and does not require major renovations so that it is suitable for us millennial couples. Specific considerations for choosing this type of house besides the minimalist layout are because it has 2 floors & a back garden which, although not large, is the most suitable for our needs compared to other types of houses in this cluster. It's just that the building area & land are adjusted to the budget of course 😊 Because we haven't lived in it for a year, there haven't been many changes apart from the decoration and additional materials such as sliding doors, roasters as garden dividers, kitchen sets & interior wardrobes. The future plan is to change the children's room to be bigger because it feels too small. Apart from that, so far we still feel satisfied with the existing renovation & decoration, while saving we can upgrade the room slowly. By prioritizing urgent needs first. • Making House into Home • Hello, O!House friends, my husband bought this house in 2017. At that time we were not married yet and I was still in Japan completing my Masters studies. At that time I only said that this house was nice and unique compared to other houses that my husband had surveyed. When I started living in this house in 2020, we started adding a canopy, under-stairs cupboard, tidying up the front garden. In 2021, we added a kitchen + dining room, laundry room and prayer room. In 2023, we renovated again, this time there were quite a lot of changes in detail: renovating 2 bathrooms, upgrading the interior of the master bedroom, expanding the children's bedroom + upgrading the interior, adding a work space and balcony, adding a rooftop for a water tower & pump, upgrading the interior of the living room, upgrading the carport + garage ceramics. We are grateful that day by day, this house is getting more comfortable. It took quite a long time to find a location for us to make a house. From the many choices of locations, we narrowed it down to several options, namely a location far from the crowds or the side of the road, a location on a fairly high plain because we wanted a natural atmosphere and fresh and clean air circulation. For the city of Solo, this developer is one that already has a name. The environment is also relatively safe, lots of greenery with 1 gate system and 24-hour security. So that for households, we feel more at ease because our children can grow and play safely. . ✨In terms of budget, we adjust to space and layout requirements. For a budget under 1 billion in 2022, at that time we decided to choose this type of house for the reasons; minimalist building concept, there are 2 floors with an open space layout, has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & 1 powder room, and most importantly we still get a back garden. . ✨With a building area of 65 square meters, this house is ideal to meet our needs.
