Combining the laundry room with the bathroom is the right and practical solution for a minimalist home, thus creating an efficient and compact space. I did this by placing the washing machine in one corner of the bathroom, in the future I will make a storage rack above it to utilize the empty area to be more functional. This design can still look aesthetic with the right choice of materials and neat arrangement.

For a compact house like ours, it takes extra decoration because it will definitely look cramped if you can't maximize the space like the original location of the laundry room, not here😁
Finally, with my husband's work, I was able to create a laundry room with a pulley system to make it tidier, more efficient and dry faster because there is still light coming in from the house😊

Mini laundry room at Deiraa House 🫶🏻
Although simple, this mini laundry measuring 150x150cm is located in front of the powder room area on the 1st floor and adjacent to the indoor mini garden
So it looks very tropical, bright and minimalist
The drying area is in the garden next to the main room with a fairly large space and is directly exposed to sunlight from midday to evening✨

•Board And Batten Accent Wall in Laundry Room•
Adding accents to the walls is part of an effort to level up our laundry room, which was initially less attractive because it was at the very back of the house, and was located next to the kitchen.
Tips: I didn't put a lot of print here, just a rattan basket as a container for dirty clothes, and to the right of the washing machine there is a space about an inch in size, perfect for placing a shelf for detergent & fabric softener, washing machine cleaning fluid, and some liquids other house cleaners.

- Mini Laundry Room -
Our laundry and drying room measures 1.3 x 2.4 meters. Not that big but quite enough. In addition to the placement of hanging clotheslines so that the space is not too narrow, we added a portable clothesline that can be pulled and stretched when needed.
Our laundry room is adjacent to the main bathroom and also the void, so even though the clothesline is not exposed to direct sunlight, it only takes 2 days to dry. The sliding canopy helps maximize air circulation. We installed 2 drainage holes in the corner of the laundry area so that it is not so visible.
