Truth is, our tiny home doesn’t have a dedicated guest room 🤭 All spaces can be used to host close friends & fam. The hack is to have as many chairs / seats as possible + provide great entertainment — using our Frame TV, Marshall speaker & Sade, our cute dog 😁👌🏼

How to maximize space in a tiny home?
What we did in our home to get that extra space:
1. Having on open-space layout, where the whole space can be seen at one glance.
2. Change walls into glass sliding doors.
3. Re-layout the kitchen, make it connected to sunroom/ dining area.
4. Create a versatile space. With glass sliding canopy, our semi- outdoor sunroom can be easily turned to an area that caters different activities.
5. Choose furniture that is light & move-able.

this is our built-in wardrobe inside master bedroom. We made a custom open wardrobe & organized it based on our needs. On top of the shelves is where we put luggages & traveling bags. Underneath, we separated the open closet into ‘him & her’ section by adding 3 hanging clothes racks & drawers. We also have a hanging full body mirror & some hooks to hang our daily bags.
To get that ‘boutique’ vibe, sometimes we turn on aroma diffuser that serves as ambient light as well.

Feeling woody 🪵
How to easily create mid century look in our home? By choosing the right material. Most used material in mid century era is wood. So we use wood & wood-like material to achieve that style. To spice things up, we add leather sofa that has similar color tones.

Hidden Toilet 🚪🤫
Small & hidden but still comfortable to use. This tiny bathroom under staircase is a full equipped toilet + shower. Layout & interior hasn’t been changed at all. We just add small details that are functional to make it look less dull.

PET FRIENDLY HOME 🐶♥️
Color coordination is the key to have a home that looks neat, especially in choosing home decoration. For example, the pet crate. For us, having a pet crate made of wood is important so that it fits with the whole interior. As a bonus, it’s expandable too! so it can be used for a long time.

SOUL IN OUR HOME
Is not a room / furniture. Instead, it’s sade — our toy poodle that can always lights up the mood. One of her fave corners in this house is under the dining table & dark corners in the 1st floor. We also just added ‘new toy’ for her, little pink elephant that matches her tiny size.
