The way I make a room more aesthetic is by buying decoration products/details that match the tone and style of the house.
First, choose based on color, such as black, white or brown tones. Second, adjust it to the needs of the room, for example for cushion covers, throw blankets or decorative objects such as vases.
Usually I buy from stores like IKEA or Informa, because being able to see the product directly makes me more satisfied, compared to buying online. There is no special budget to buy decoration items, usually it's more about mix and match and changing things up so that the vibes are different.

Hello from Lolla House!
When we first occupied the house, we decorated the house with Monochrome shades for 4 years. But because we wanted a warm feel and not monotonous, in the end we decided to add wooden accents and brownish tones to make this house look more cozy and compact.
And this is our house now, which has a Modern Dark Interior nuance. Because of our love for bold colors, black, white, tan and caramel are dominated. We apply this theme to almost all rooms except the children's room.
We also chose furniture and decoration objects in bold colors, such as black sofas, dark wood colored vinyl. etc.

If we're talking about a low budget makeover, it really suits my kitchen, because I attached a plain black granite backsplash with a marble motif wall sticker to make it more elegant, and installed a wood grain motif PVC wall sticker for the table top.
For decoration items, I don't have a special or large budget, I just buy things that suit the character of my house and look matching. Usually I buy at IKEA or e-commerce. the important thing is black or wooden π hopefully it will inspire β¨

Make the Living Room look more Fancy with Shelves decoration π
My husband and I made these shelves or wall shelves ourselves, aka #DIYLowBudget. We bought Dutch teak wood boards the size of the width of the living room wall, and covered them with PVC stickers with wood grain motifs.
The function of this shelf, apart from saving space, I use it to store decorative collection items and the plus point is that the living room looks more fancy!

The color palette in this house, which is definitely Warm and Bold, is dominated by black and warm earth tones such as dark brown, terracotta, latte and caramel.
We apply this color palette to almost all rooms, except in children's rooms and on the facade.
