On the 1st floor, the building area is around 36 square meters, 3 meters wide and 12 meters long. Therefore, we have to have lots of storage so we can store things neatly.
To make the space appear wider, we can remove partitions. You can see that on the 1st floor, there are no partitions between rooms. Apart from open space, we also chose small furniture.
We had to renovate a sofa bed because it was too big in our small living room. As a result, from the results of the renovation, we made tatami pillows.
One more thing, large windows or openings can also give the impression that the room looks more spacious, because the outdoor garden seems to be part of the room.

The kitchen is in a limited area of around 2x2 meters which we finally emptied out a number of items to make it more spacious ✨
Initially the area near the sink contained a washing machine, which we then moved to the back area. This area finally became a dispenser 💦
To make this kitchen area look more spacious, we used a bright color palette on a number of decoration items, starting from a white backsplash, natural brown wooden table top, yellow-orange pendant lamps, and pastel blue wall panels 🩵💛🤍
This also applies to dining/kitchen equipment, such as white coffee machines and Korean cafe style plates 🍽️

This room can be used as a guest house, relaxing area, work space and listening room because it has an Open Space concept.

In arranging this room we used colors that are not far from monochrome so that it remains consistent even though there are several other colors such as orange chairs, several collections of black records with blue covers.

The furniture is all monochrome except for the work desk because I bought the work desk when I was still dating and hadn't thought about having a white house, maybe in the future we will make it all white

This Terra Hauz measures 6x15m, making it included in the tiny house category, hihi. So, that's why when we first renovated this house, we deliberately created an open plan concept and knocked down the walls that previously existed, there used to be a barrier between the living room and the kitchen.
Apart from that, we deliberately chose a round dining table, even though it looks like a round table is bigger, with a round table we can freely add additional chairs on all sides.
When choosing furniture colors, we also prefer neutral colors, with lots of white accents. The goal is to make the room appear brighter and more spacious.
With the combination of concepts as I said above, currently we are quite satisfied to live here with 1 child. Children still have a large space to run around😁

Tiny houses like Gioia House only have a living room area measuring 4.3 x 3 meters. To utilize this limited space so that it still looks spacious, we made this area an open space joining the foyer and stairs area. We also used large glass windows next to the garden and high ceilings to make the room feel more spacious.
Apart from that, using bright colored paint and a bright room also makes a small room feel more spacious. For the layout, we deliberately placed the sofa facing the garden and this is much more spacious than if the sofa was placed facing the TV.

Before being renovated, this house did not have a special area for a laundry room, the kitchen area was limited, and only had 1 living room where the living room functioned as a family room... therefore we decided to divide the back area into 2 parts for the kitchen & service area
The concept of this house is open plan from the kitchen to the living room, aka a line house. The kitchen is integrated with the dining room so there is remaining space that can be used as a family room and living room..
I chose the U shaped kitchen design because I think the finished kitchen can still be visually attractive from various angles, especially from the living room. The kitchen set is designed with full cabinets up and down without shelves so that it remains functional, efficient and saves space... it can accommodate all kitchen accessories.
The size of the kitchen & dining area is only 2.1 x 4 meters but it feels spacious and comfortable plus there is good ventilation and lighting

Hello everyone...
This is our simple house, with a building area of 70m2 (7x10m). Even though it's not spacious, the right arrangement can make the house not seem cramped.
We use earth tone colors, white, wood and neutral colors such as gray and black as a combination.
Apart from choosing colors, we also try not to pile up too many items, so we regularly declutter so that the house isn't "full".
Don't forget that large windows also help circulate air and light so that the house isn't stuffy.

With a building area of under 100m, I found the room without partitions so it seemed spacious. From the living room to the kitchen there is a sliding glass door. This sliding door functions so that the AC doesn't work as hard so it only cools some areas.
But in everyday life the sliding door is rarely closed so the room is empty. LB 98m and LT 120m have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, hallway, kitchen room, outdoor garden, kitchen, TV room, laundry room and warehouse.

This is the guest room in our house. Since the amount of space in our house is limited and we rarely have guests, we maximize the function of the 3.3 x 3.4 m room by using a Murphy Bed. Inspiration for Organizing and Maximizing Open Plan Home Space
This house has an open plan concept where there are no partitions between rooms, with a rectangular layout. So that the room remains spacious and not too full of furniture, in the kitchen area we combine the Kitchen Island with a bench for the dining table with a design like a diner booth. And under the bench we also asked for a drawer to be made for extra storage.
After the dining table area is directly faced with the family room, and to get around the addition of storage space, our interior designer made a custom credenza right behind the sofa which acts like a room divider as well as a place to store home necessities such as storage for sofa cushion covers, batteries, and other home appliances. With this extra storage, an open plan house can be neat because every item that is not used too often can be stored, and only decorative items are displayed.
Arranging an open plan house is quite tricky because in one room there are three functional rooms at once, so the placement of furniture and items must also be correct so that it doesn't look full and messy.
