Initially, make a simple doodle to give a brief to the kitchen set vendor, by bringing several reference images and selected materials.
Thank God it was delivered well, even though during the process there were some things that didn't match π

- HPL from @taco.id TH 884 J Tulare Walnut for lower and upper cabinets
- matte mosaic ceramic for backsplash.
- solid surface white carara for the table top

Hi, meet again with the Open Space kitchen & dining area at @first21.haus which is directly connected to our Living room. This time with a night vibes shot, this is the atmosphere of a cloudy and rainy night all day accompanying our evening activities.
Because without a partition, the room feels more spacious for mobility to cook and eat at the dining table while watching a movie on TV. It is also freer to arrange the interior and decoration as you wish. And to make it even more spacious, there is a sliding door of aluminum glass with a wood motif that leads to the back garden, this really helps air circulation when cooking and cross ventilation from front to back. However, when it rains like this, we close the sliding door so that it doesn't splash in.

This is the night vibes in the home office room at RFL House. I created the warm and comfortable atmosphere that I wanted to create in this room by using lots of table lamps with warm white lights. In this room which is dominated by white furniture, I also deliberately provided an orange table lamp, one of its functions being the point of view of this room. In the past, it might have been taboo to put the kitchen in a place that guests could see, but now the kitchen is made more aesthetic but still functional.
In Rumah Semak itself, the kitchen is in one room with the dining room and family room without a partition. What makes this kitchen interesting is not only the use of a modern kitchen set, but also the view of the garden right in front of the stove, so that day or night you are treated to a beautiful view of the garden.
Next to the kitchen there is also access to the garden with a koi pond, the sound of flowing water, always successfully relaxing when we are in the kitchen, or eating in the dining room.

We use several lamps to create a warm + cool feel into one, there is a standing lamp hanging above, a bud lamp placed above the speaker, a mushroom lamp in the second row makes the bottom bright, a Super Mario style question lamp on the next table makes it unique. This mushroom lamp only costs 200 thousand on Shopee, before when there weren't many selling it the price could be up to 800 thousand. Many people use this lamp for modern themed decorations, it has a cute shape. Unfortunately the cable for this lamp uses a USB end, it's a bit difficult if you want to find the nearest plug with a USB end, you have to use a connection head. I wish there was a version of this lamp that can be charged, so it's wireless if you want to turn it on.
