fave nooks in my sweet lil’ kitchen…brighten up your kitchen space and improve functionality and visual appeal (tips to follow):

1) utilize butcher blocks to get extra counter/prep space and storage without the financial or spacial commitment of an island (way affordable vs any alternatives)
2) curate decor that catches your eye (think DIY art work and prints; chose colored pots/pans/mixing bowls/mugs, mix and match within your color pallete). *when at flea markets/estate sales/etc. look for vases (crystal or ceramic are my fave), paintings, cheap kitchen essentials
3) start an indoor herb ‘garden’ — rosemary, thyme, oregano and mint grow especially well inside are climate adaptable and low maintence
4) soften the light from giant windows with nuetral sheer panel curtains
