Living Room The concept of the house that I chose for my house is actually Scandinavian Minimalist but because it was filled slowly, what I think has entered the theme that I want is in this Living Room. Why did I choose this concept? That's because I really want our hearts to always feel "Home" in the house, because every time we come home there is a feeling of warmth, comfort and peace. This concept is identical to simple furniture and is closely related to the concept of nature, for that I added elements of wood colors such as dark brown wall panels, I used light brown vinyl on the floor, I also added a wooden TV table, ornaments on the guest table vases and rattan trays, I also added green rubber plants, there is also warm lighting from the standing lamp. It's been almost 2.5 years since the renovation, this is how our house facade has developed. The plants have also become more fertile and the yard looks beautiful. The most noticeable change in this house is the living room wall and how to decorate it. The developer brought this living room wall with many fine cracks and dampness that hurt the eyes to see it.. So I used natural stone patterned ceramics to eliminate the cracks and dampness as a solution. The result is this living room becomes a focal point and aesthetic. Slide 2 and 3 - The most comfortable room and corner because usually on this sofa we often sit or lie down to relieve fatigue. 3. Slide 4 and 5 - A small area in front of the entrance where we put a collection of several indoor plants. 4. Slide 6,7,8 - Changing the room that used to be a bathroom into a small prayer room or mihrab in the house. ✨Life is a process Slide 1- This exterior is simple but proud for us. Because it is the result of savings and also long discussions. Slide 2- Favorite area is the warm ambience from the lighting of the open space living and dining at night Slide 3- Void brick wall area in the middle of the house. In addition to being decorative and a focal point, this small area is very functional as natural lighting from morning to evening Slide 4- Service stair access with a curved wall accent that is functional and space-saving Slide 5- The sink positioned outside is very functional for washing hands every day and after going to the guest bathroom. The House We Created, Little by Little” After two years of living in a rented house, we finally decided to buy our own house. A big change in my house, I broke down the kitchen and living room divider to make it an open space like it is now and broke down the concrete table in the kitchen. Previously, the floor was a different color because the new floor was shinier, finally I added vinyl flooring which made the room warmer. This house was last renovated in the late 2020s. We moved in again in early 2021. According to my mother, the current facade is the icon of the house. It's so cute 😁. In the past, my mother asked my husband to make a balcony on the ground floor terrace so that she could utilize the roof of the ground floor terrace. Now the balcony is used as a seating and planting area. The living room area which is integrated with the mini pantry on slide 2 is the realization of my mother's desire to have an open plan area.
