Make your living space even cooler without emptying your pockets!
Affordable materials can be a big change, like my living room, which originally had old patterned ceramic floors, now looks like it has been transformed when replaced with Vinyl Flooring. Not only is the price not emptying your pockets, but the quality is also okay, similar to solid wood and durable. For the selection of materials and colors, I adjust them to the style of my house. Hi I want to introduce the growing facade of this house
This house grows on 83 sqm of land with a new building area of 20 sqm and a mezzanine of 10 sqm. Because we like clean houses, we chose a minimalist house concept with a Scandinavian theme.
So that this house is not too plain:

In house 43, I chose a minimalist teak wood door. The minimalist design which looks elegant and simple really suits the style of house 43. 🌸 Simply White Aesthetic 🌸
Finally the facade and terrace area of my house changed color ✨
I wanted to change it to a cute color, but I was afraid of getting bored easily, so I finally decided to paint everything white.
The walls, ceiling, door, small terrace, and fence are all white.
I chose white to make it simpler and cleaner, although it will be a bit extra to maintain it later 😅
Repainting this front area has indeed been budgeted for maintenance every 3 years, because if you dare to have a house, you must dare to have a special fund for its maintenance 💸
Then I also made a mudroom in front of the door so that shoes and jackets are neat and don't need to be brought inside, because they are dirty. I used a simple shoe rack made of wood with a light wood color, then I added hooks to hang jackets and helmets so they don't get messy.
Now I also match the color of the cleaning furniture, so that when hung like this it looks neat and harmonious.
The budget for the maintenance area is not too much, only around 1.5 million including the cost of the craftsman.
It is possible to make your house beautiful again with a minimal budget, as long as you are willing to put in more effort to find the most affordable price for its maintenance needs ✨

Honestly, I'm not really confident to publish this, but it's okay because I think it's pretty neat like this. This area is the most messy because we don't have a warehouse yet, so we store almost all our stuff in the garage. As a result, it looks really stuffy huhu. I highly recommend to neighbors who are building a house to add 1 special room for a warehouse, because even though we often declutter, it still doesn't mean we don't need a warehouse. It's better to anticipate than to be confused later😅

The way we determine the color palette in the living room is to create a combination of white floor and wall colors with earth tone colors.
The doors in Cicin's house are made of teak wood that was deliberately ordered according to the design we wanted, and the wood color on the door is the brightest element in the living room.
Cream curtains are also one of the earth colors that we like and we customize them according to the height of the ceiling, the color is almost similar to the rattan chairs equipped with earth tone pillows.
The round table in the living room is also adjusted to the selection of wood colors and motifs so that it matches the other elements.
What is always the center of attention of guests who visit Cicin's house is the minimalist foyer table that beautifies the living room.

🔆 Low Budget White Facade 🔆
I used to really want to have a house with a gable roof facade, but after considering it seemed heavy on the construction and maintenance budget, I finally got a house with this very minimalist facade.
The facade is just a box and a sloping model on the roof so that there is no need for gutters on the right and left sides, so rainwater just falls to the front of the house. This model also requires minimal maintenance, because there is no problem with clogged and overflowing gutters and can affect seepage into the walls or leaks.
The facade that still uses corrugated asbestos as its roof, was chosen because it is cheap compared to tiles, but the downside is that the house feels a bit hotter than using tiles.
In the past, this facade and terrace area were first painted sky blue and white, then changed to soft gray and white, but in the end I decided to paint all the walls and fences white so that they are cleaner and fresher.
The entrance to this house has 2 openings in the fence, the side is only big enough for people to enter and exit, and the front is for vehicles to enter and exit.
The front uses a folding fence because there is no access to the right and left walls, all fences.
This house is located in a densely populated area in an alley, so it took quite an effort to photograph the front of this facade because the size of the front road only fits one car. But it seems not bad for the size of a house in an alley, ehehehe 🤭
