3 things that are my favorite in the kitchen
1. white hanging shelf.
This hanging shelf is custom made. When we first started building the kitchen, because it had a large window in front of it, we decided to order a floating shelf from a regular vendor. This hanging shelf is made from hollow iron which is finished with white duco paint. The shelf is made of white HPL-coated plywood. hanging shelves inspired by donut and coffee shops in malls.
2. plants and their various pots.
I'm really happy as a plant lover, being able to put plants on shelves where during the day it's bright and gets sunlight. I put plants like njoy betel, Brazilian philo and mican philo, all of which are plants that are easy to care for. For pots I use unused rice basket covers, plastic pots and terracotta pots.
Oh yes, if you have a broken coffee cup (I have one with a broken handle) you can use it as a pot. I used leca balls planting media and existing plant cuttings.
3. collection of coffee cups from pottery
Yes, I really like pottery and because I also like coffee, I collect several handmade coffee cups that I buy online and offline in the Salatiga and Yogyakarta areas.

If you are asked what your favorite items or objects are in the house, the answer is in this kitchen area because without these 3 things in the kitchen it feels like something is missing.
The first is the spice rack, its role is very important for storing spice bottles which are always used for cooking every day.
The second is the oil pot, its role is no less important. In a kitchen without an oil pot, this kitchen will definitely have a view of a bowl filled with used oil 😄 of course this view can disturb the aesthetics of this kitchen, right?
The third is aesthetic scissors with anti-slip, these scissors are also a must have in every kitchen and must be visible so that refilling in the kitchen is easy.
So those are my 3 favorite things because having them adds to the aesthetic value of my small kitchen.

Reading room... I don't know why, even though this room is quite "ordinary", I always like it when I'm here.
Maybe because there is a chair made by my beloved husband hehe. Because my wife wanted to have a rattan chair but it was very expensive to send to our area, so she made it heheh.

The criteria for items that I like are items that are aesthetically pleasing to look at, and can also be placed anywhere. In this room, there are 3 items that are my favorites, one of which is the LERSTA floor lamp from IKEA. Apart from its aesthetic design, the price is affordable and it also provides a different ambience when turned on. Even when the lights are not on, it still looks beautiful.
There is also a small GUNNEMOR blanket from IKEA, I usually use this blanket to cover a sofa or mattress to make it look warmer.
Lastly, there is a long carpet or doormat with a picture of a cat, the material is very soft and is enough to decorate the floor which is still plain.
I usually move these three items to fill the room I want to decorate for content purposes. Hope it is useful :)
