During makeover part 2 yesterday, I decorated the area near the window with a sofa and coffee table to just enjoy an afternoon snack.
but sometimes I change the setup with sitting chairs with a round table and portable lamps so that the atmosphere of the home cafe remains cozy.
Apart from being a place for me to spend time at weekends and after work, this coffee corner can also beautify my bedroom so that the area near the window is not too plain.

I've always wanted to have a bedroom like in hotels, so I styled it as minimally as possible with a simple and warm color palette like this. But even so, because the room is minimalist, you have to be smart in choosing the design of the furniture, like a multifunctional cot, a drawer that can be used as a diaper changing mat for children, or this adjustable table. BTW there is an ensuite bathroom in this master bedroom. ✨Ghibli-Inspired Room Styling✨
For a standard room size with a fairly large bed, I have to be smart in looking for furniture or decorations that don't take up too much space.
One of the decorative items that I often use is trinkets, postcards and posters to decorate rooms. Styling a Ghibli concept room on a low budget is also easy. You can start with decor items that are small in size and have the same concept as the room concept in the Ghibli film.

The main bedroom in our house is 4x4.25 m. Deliberately make it a bit wider to make it more comfortable and free to move. Using granite tiles with wood motifs, with cots and mattresses measuring 180x200 because the children still like to sleep with us. To be comfortable, we don't want a lot of things in the room. We use soft, soft sheets and bed covers to make sleeping more comfortable. Using Japanese house theme colors, a combination of natural colors, white, cream, with a touch of rattan hanging lamps. Inspired by hotel rooms, we used curtains and full ceiling curtains in matching colors. And several lights, main lights, LED strip lights on the ceiling and spotlights in every corner of the ceiling. We also equip it with a TV so you can watch in your room for me-time. There is also a bathroom in the room so that privacy is maintained.

🔆 Small “Aesthetic” Decor 🔆
In my opinion, there are a few simple things that can make a big impact in creating an aesthetic room, namely:
🎀 Playing with color harmony
🎀 Lights
🎀 Mirrors
🎀 Sweet decorations
And voila! your room can be instantly aesthetic ✨
Color harmony is needed to avoid excessive color clashes that can make the room feel narrower and dizzy, it can be between paint, and also furniture in the room.
Lights really have an impact, to keep the ambiance of the room feeling comfortable, for example using warm white lights to be combined with the main lights with cool tones, so it can feel more luxurious too!
Mirrors that seem unimportant can actually make the room look wider and more beautiful, because they can reflect other areas within our line of sight in one room. Then you can take mirror selfies, ehehehe ☺️

Guest Room Story.
I want to share about the use of materials that make this guest room more comfortable after going through the makeover process.
During the makeover process.
I added SPC flooring, which previously used granite flooring.
Aims to give a warm impression in this room.
On the wall section, it is decorated with wall batten using GRC material, in addition to the material being quite affordable. GRC is believed to be stronger and more durable.
From these two materials, it gives a different impression from the previous room.

Room Transformation 🤍
The small renovation that I did in this room was to replace the uneven floor with vinyl.
The good thing about installing this vinyl is that you don't have to dismantle the old granite, but you can stick it directly on top of it. So this small renovation can be done quickly and easily.
However, after being renovated, it turned out that it could really change my room to be warmer and more aesthetic. The addition of new furniture such as a bed and wardrobe also made the room more beautiful and comfortable.
