A renter friendly hack if you’re moving into a furnished apartment is to utilize sofa covers.
You can change your sofa to almost any color you want to match your interior style. My sofa is originally red but I bought an ivory sofa cover and it’s one of the purchases I fullheartedly am happy about.
Sofa covers are also a great way to ensure you minimize damage done to the original sofa, which is especially helpful if you have pets.

We moved into a newly built home, but I couldn’t stand the ugly tiles around our fireplace. They looked like they belong to the bathroom, not the living room. I bought the peel and stick tiles to cover them up, and I am 200% satisfied with the result! They look so real unless you go really close to observe the details - but who does that? 🤗
