The kitchen is in a limited area of around 2x2 meters which we finally emptied out a number of items to make it more spacious β¨
Initially the area near the sink contained a washing machine, which we then moved to the back area. This area finally became a dispenser π¦
To make this kitchen area look more spacious, we used a bright color palette on a number of decoration items, starting from a white backsplash, natural brown wooden table top, yellow-orange pendant lamps, and pastel blue wall panels π©΅ππ€
This also applies to dining/kitchen equipment, such as white coffee machines and Korean cafe style plates π½οΈ

Tips for making a narrow room look spacious π

01 Use light color paint if we use full white all around
02 Choose a white floor mat if we use white with a continuous motif from end to end (to get a marble impression)
03 Choose window coverings (curtains) in bright colors so that light can easily enter and allow air to circulate easily.
04 Choose furniture that is light in the sense that it is not heavy to look at / matches other colors (I like minimalism so I choose geometric shapes and white)
05 Using an open space concept is suitable for small houses such as 45m2 house numbers

Before being renovated, this house did not have a special area for a laundry room, the kitchen area was limited, and only had 1 living room where the living room functioned as a family room... therefore we decided to divide the back area into 2 parts for the kitchen & service area
The concept of this house is open plan from the kitchen to the living room, aka a line house. The kitchen is integrated with the dining room so there is remaining space that can be used as a family room and living room..
I chose the U shaped kitchen design because I think the finished kitchen can still be visually attractive from various angles, especially from the living room. The kitchen set is designed with full cabinets up and down without shelves so that it remains functional, efficient and saves space... it can accommodate all kitchen accessories.
The size of the kitchen & dining area is only 2.1 x 4 meters but it feels spacious and comfortable plus there is good ventilation and lighting

This is the guest room in our house. Since the amount of space in our house is limited and we rarely have guests, we maximize the function of the 3.3 x 3.4 m room by using a Murphy Bed. When the mattress is not in use, it can be folded against the wall, making this room easy to convert into a home office or workout area. The perfect solution for limited space! π«Άπ»β¨οΈ

We deliberately did not provide a partition and requested the developer when building the house to remove the partition between the living room and family room. The goal is to make it look more spacious. So our living room is also a family room in our house.
This family room is our favorite place to chat and gather after a day of activities. Although it is not spacious, it is still comfortable for us residents π€

Inspiration for Organizing and Maximizing Open Plan Home Space
This house has an open plan concept where there are no partitions between rooms, with a rectangular layout. So that the room remains spacious and not too full of furniture, in the kitchen area we combine the Kitchen Island with a bench for the dining table with a design like a diner booth. And under the bench we also asked for a drawer to be made for extra storage.
After the dining table area is directly faced with the family room, and to get around the addition of storage space, our interior designer made a custom credenza right behind the sofa which acts like a room divider as well as a place to store home necessities such as storage for sofa cushion covers, batteries, and other home appliances. With this extra storage, an open plan house can be neat because every item that is not used too often can be stored, and only decorative items are displayed.
Arranging an open plan house is quite tricky because in one room there are three functional rooms at once, so the placement of furniture and items must also be correct so that it doesn't look full and messy.

Maximizing limited space to remain functional in @zenhouse.id is how we define a bathroom. Because this bathroom area is hidden. Located between the walls of the main door to the children's room, no one would have thought that this small space was actually a bathroom ππ₯°π€
Yuppp because the space is limited, the @zenhouse.id bathroom is elongated while still paying attention to the curved accents on the wall. Storage on the wall that forms a triangle and curves at the same time becomes something unique here hihi

My house is only 72 land with a width of 6m and a length of 12m
One way to make it look spacious and comfortable is by applying the open space concept to the house.
The open space concept in the house is applied on the 1st floor, where the living room is combined with the TV room, dining and kitchen. So there are no partitions between one room and another.

β Never Too Small
Having a house that is MINI-malist, aka tiny, means you really have to think about it and make use of the area.
Like this TV room, we use storage from #IKEA as a TV table which also functions to store books, toys and several other home equipment.
We also use shelves as a storage area as well as decoration.
Decorating with matching colors also makes the room feel less 'full' and tends to be more compact and pleasing to the eye.

My room is 3x3
The minimal space makes me more challenged to be more creative. Tips that I do to make the most of the space I have:
1. Starting from using shelves that can be flexible to fit under the desk.
2. Glass for ootds that I can move around according to my mood and to make it look like a photo studio, I usually put it near the cupboard or in a corner like this.
3. Then I give space in the middle of this room so that I can freely do anything like exercising in the room, sometimes ironing, etc.

POV___ when you only have 3x3 m2 of space left for the kitchen, but don't want to dry clothes in front of the house
This is how I maximize my super limited land, but try to fulfill all my needs in this house. Starting from not liking drying clothes in front of the house, and not having the budget to add a second floor to the building, this kitchen was combined with a laundry area.
The washing machine and stove are only separated by a tiled wall to make it safer. And for the laundry area, ceramics have also been installed to avoid dampness on the walls.
And for the drying area, we made a "ceiling clothesline" from iron painted black. The roof only uses clear solarflat combined with iron sheeting too. The goal is so that sunlight can still come in so you can dry clothes in this room, but also not get caught in the rain.
Many people ask, "don't your clothes smell like cooking?" So far, never :) because I always try not to have cooking and drying clothes at the same time. Apart from that, we also use ventilation holes so there is still good air circulation.
The advantages of choosing this spatial layout are:
1. Save time, cooking can be done while washing clothes
2. Drying clothes is more relaxing, without worrying about getting caught in the rain or getting dust
3. The kitchen is bright and energy efficient because you only turn on the lights at night
4. The kitchen is not damp
The disadvantages are:
1. The kitchen gets very hot during the day
2. It must be cleaned diligently so that dirt and odors do not contaminate the clothes being dried in the sun
3. You can't cook many times because you have to adjust to the time you dry your clothes
Regardless of the pluses and minuses, we think this is the best option we have at the moment. So what do you think?

So that the kitchen looks neat and clean, it is really necessary to have a kitchen cabinet or kitchen set to store the necessary kitchen furniture.
Even though the kitchen in this house is small and there is a stairs area too, we use a cabinet under the stairs for additional storage.
This way the kitchen will be well organized and will not look cramped.
