The front room is the part that has the largest dimensions in our house, namely around 5.7 x 7.8 meters. We have partly used this room as a living room and the other part is being processed to become a family lounge. It has an open space concept so that cooler air can enter the house. Placing large furniture is a solution so that the room doesn't look too empty. Mostly we order from local craftsmen. Having a big house is indeed one of our dreams.♥️

The living area in the house, including the kitchen, is quite spacious, namely 4x10.5 m2. To feel more spacious, I minimized the partitions in this area or what is usually called an open space layout. Our house has a building area of around 144m2 (2 floors), while the land area is around 84m2.
We implemented an open space concept on the 1st floor. On the 1st floor there is a mini terrace, carport, an extended living room combined with a dining room and living room. On the 1st floor there is also a clean kitchen and a dirty mini kitchen which is attached to the laundry area. Apart from that there is a guest room and a small bathroom.
Meanwhile, on the 2nd floor, there are 3 bedrooms and 1 open space room which we use as a relaxing room, study/work area and ironing area. Apart from that there is a main bathroom.
The furniture we chose is more Japanese, warm tones such as brown, white, black or gray.
Our house is not big, but it's not small either, but this is our dream house that we got with our own sweat, not because of inheritance haha.

This room is the most spacious room which we function as a family room and gathering place if there are quite a lot of family guests. Placing furniture that is all against the wall or located on the edge makes the room feel more spacious because there is quite a wide space in the middle area.
What stands out the most here is the placement of custom shelves made of black hollow iron as the frame and boards as the base for the shelves attached along the walls of this room. And in line with the custom shelves, we placed a black and dark brown bar table along the stair railing for us to just drink coffee while chatting with other family members in this family room. To add warmth, we covered the previously white floor with floor vinyl.

Openspace room at home 🏡
This room is a living room that is one with the dining room, we decorated it without partitions to make it look more spacious. The furniture we chose is minimalist furniture with neutral tones with a few touches of wood. The shapes we choose for furniture are generally firm or not bulky, so that they don't appear to fill the room. White wall paint also makes the room seem spacious.

This house was built on a land area of 198 square meters. To maximize space, we use an open plan concept, where the family room, dining room and kitchen become one room without partitions.
Next to this room, there is an inner courtyard which is a dry garden so we can use it for activities if we need more space. With sliding glass doors that can be opened wide, it gives a spacious and spacious impression.

Previously, I had a dream of having a spacious one-story house with an open-space concept. I am grateful that I finally achieved it. It seems like my family room is the largest room in this house. The family room itself measures around 8 x 7m. It's a bit tricky when choosing furniture because it needs to be big enough but you don't want it to look "crowded", not to mention the distance between the sofa and TV you have to take into account because you want to use the existing TV. So far I'm quite satisfied with the styling of my family room, all my needs are met, there's not too much furniture but it doesn't feel "empty".

My house is located in a cluster complex, which is adjacent to neighboring houses. The room area on the 1st floor is approximately 120 m2, not too big but not too small. To make it look wider, we created an open space concept, where there are no partitions between the dining room, kitchen and family room. We played a lot with color to differentiate between rooms. For the kitchen area, the shades are classic white and blue with the placement of an island table and 3 bar stools as a divider between the kitchen and family room. We made the family room itself warmer & more comfortable by placing a calm colored sofa and warm white lamps. Meanwhile, on the walls of the dining room, we have provided a full mirror with large black partitions, from floor to ceiling. The master bedroom is a gigghaus which thank God is slowly being filled 🫶🏼 because this room is quite large we used windows that are also large enough to maximize lighting, and also used a 200x200 mattress to fill the rather wide area with a curved headboard that matches the theme of the house ✨
At the end of the room there is a mini walking closet for wardrobe and direction to the main bathroom. so the room feels more spacious because the wardrobe is separated ✨

This is a room on the 1st floor which has an open space concept where there is a foyer area, living room, dining room and also a kitchen that is integrated.
With this open space concept, the room feels wider because there are no partitions & this is where family activities are usually carried out.
For the 1st floor, the ceiling was deliberately made from exposed concrete and the electrical lines were displayed outside using black conduit pipes so that the industrial theme was more pronounced.

The biggest room in my house is the Living room which measures 5x6. Currently, we don't have much decoration in our house, it's still plain, because we've only lived in this house for a few months. Still in process. Our dining room and family room are open spaces. We deliberately didn't use partitions in this living room to make it look spacious. The family room is placed facing the garden so that during the day we can enjoy the view of our small garden behind the house. To fill this large room as much as possible, we only filled it with furniture that we really needed because we believe that more things usually make us more stressed 😂 And thank God so far it still suits everyone's needs and is really usable 😁
