Talking about the theme of the house, this house is actually a combination of Japanese, minimalist white and wood themes. This house is dominated by teak wood doors and windows, to balance this, we chose wood-tone furniture for all the rooms.
Apart from the white and wood nuances, what is clearly a characteristic of this house is the curved frame and spiral staircase. The combination of curved & perforated iron and wooden patterned steps, makes this spiral staircase one of the beautiful spots in our house.
Because the interior of this house is already busy with the box shape of the doors, windows and also the curved shape of the frames and stairs, for the house paint we chose a neutral color and we matched it for the entire room, so that it wasn't too flashy and still had the same theme between one room and another. .
We also use a lot of rattan as a combination of wood in the furniture so that it is not monotonous. I also like adding real plants as home decoration to make it look fresher and cooler.

Because the land area is not that big, we applied a minimalist house theme with open space / open plan so that the house looks spacious. The colors chosen are also neutral colors such as white, black, grey, beige and wooden elements in the furniture.

I want to tell you a little 🤏🏾 about how I make choices for furniture in my house. The color tone that I chose for my house is 80% Mint, White, the rest of the wood is adjusted to a harmonious color.
So, as far as possible for furniture, I also choose mint colors, the rest can be wood or white. Because it adds an aesthetic impression and there are not too many colors
That's why I always prefer custom furniture at home. Apart from the color being whatever you want, I can adjust the shape to suit your taste.

We have entered our dream home for 5 months. My husband and I (my husband works as an architect) agreed to apply a contemporary minimalist concept to our house, which combines elements of wood and a combination of white as a base.
And with the open space / open plan concept that we use on this floor, the limited space looks quite spacious
In this 1 room there is a TV room / living room, dining table and kitchen
Because our house has quite a lot of glass windows for the size of this house (it's a house concept from the developer) which functions as natural lighting and air circulation.
So in the morning there are a lot of light sources coming in
Hopefully in the future every corner of this house can continue to become better and more attractive according to the concept we have implemented

Our Kitchen❤️
As discussed in the previous post, the theme of our house is "Industrial" with touches of black, white, gray and brown.
Mix and match elements of black iron, wood and plants to make it look alive. Choosing iron elements is not just to fit the "theme" but we also think about the strength of the furniture we choose.

But as time went by and we explored more themes and interior designs, we fell in love with the Modern Minimalist concept, especially by combining neutral colors such as taupe and natural wood grain. Multiple rooms in one room
Our first house in this line has a Japanese style home with 3 color tones, namely black, white and wood. Why do we choose this style because apart from making the impression of a warm home, this style is also easy to mix and match with other home equipment.
In fact, almost all the rooms in our house have a Japanese style, but the one with the most Japanese decorations is in this room. where in one room there is a living room, dining room, kitchen and sideboard.
The main center of the Japanese style in our house is in the kitchen area, namely the kitchen set. Here I chose a Japanese-style square backsplash with a minimalist and functional kitchen set area, and we also used wooden stacking shelves to store kitchen utensils.

The style of this house is actually a Scandinavian mix. For this living room, the mix is more Boho-Scandi. We apply this style only in the living room. This living room was the first place where I learned to apply the Minimalist Bohemian style. At first I didn't understand what exactly the decorating style I was applying to my house was, I decorated my house according to my eye taste and the feeling of happiness every time I finished cleaning. However, after looking for more inspiration and reading about interiors, I have a better understanding of what interior style suits my family's character.
BTW, even though in this living room there are things that are moved and replaced, there are items that come and go, the minimalist bohemian living room style can be seen from the white walls with a touch of wall decor knick-knacks that mix in natural woods, there are also shades of neutral fabrics from the cushion cover on the gray sofa which can also warm up my living room. Including a throw blanket on the sofa and a circle rug made from natural materials creates the impression of a minimalist living room with bohemian tendencies.

Previously I didn't apply a specific style/tone in this house... only monochrome in the kitchen & dining area, but since studying the home decor account, all the rooms have slowly changed... inspired by the dominant Japanese style with white & wood tones. Even though it is a bit difficult to apply this concept in a house that is not fully renovated, I am increasingly comfortable with the current atmosphere... cozy & homey
To achieve this Japanese style, the first thing I did was install vinyl flooring (another reason for using vinyl to cover striped and stained granite floors).. After installing the vinyl everything just flowed from buying a sofa, dining table, installing decorations to using wall panels for accent walls. in the dining area...
