Buriq wardrobe makeover so it's aesthetic✨
This is an old cupboard at home that has been there since I was in elementary school. So there are a lot of pre-historic relics, aka evil stickers, that damage the surface of this cupboard whose interior film layer has rotted. Apart from that, the surface of the cupboard has also been badly damaged, plus the color of the cupboard which has dark green accents does not match the interior concept of the room.
However, because the shape of this old school cupboard still fits the concept of my #artdecocontemporary style room, I finally decided to just change the appearance of the cupboard.
To be honest, painting this cupboard was a bit of a mistake... because I used duco paint which is not suitable for fabricated wood materials. But... even though it's a mistake, the results aren't bad hahah🫣 the process is quite complicated and long because it takes 8 stages and I did it myself for a month (not the full time).
To make this buriq cupboard look a little high class, I minimized the cupboard key hole so that the cupboard cutting is more seamless. But for the cupboard door on the far right, it is quite difficult to remove the lock because the iron layer is rusty and damaged. Apart from that, I also replaced the cupboard handles with brass to give a luxurious impression.
So, even though this is an old cupboard made from fabricated wood, it turns out it can be adapted to the interior of the room without buying a new one✨

Terrace and carport atmosphere (if the car is not parked). We plan to make a special cabinet for the gallon and put outdoor seating on this terrace. The hanging section for cleaning outdoor tools as well as carpentry equipment and cleaning motorbikes and cars is also planned to be arranged to make it even neater (using a storage box). Hopefully it can be done soon.

to separate the rooms, we use a bookcase as a room divider filled with our books.
the sofa in this living room uses a shorter one for the safety of our children.
the color selection in our house is more with natural colors such as gray, brown, white, but there are also other colors so that it doesn't look monotonous 😊.

Custom bedside table design from terrazzo so it feels like sleeping in a cafe ☕️
To be honest, I'm a lover of terrazzo materials, especially pastel & pink colors✨ But it's a shame that there aren't many variations in the processing of this material in Indonesia. I tried looking for a bedside table model with this model but it was very difficult and almost didn't exist. Finally, I decided to design my own custom bedside table by looking for various vendors that suited my taste & budget.
For the terrazzo table top, I custom made it from IG: @onyxhomeliving_terrazzo who has experience exporting terrazzo. Apart from that, there are lots of cute variations of terrazzo. To make it look more natural, the body of the nightstand/bedside table uses wood that I customized from @asheshomeid because the price is very affordable and the design results met my expectations.
Meanwhile, to give a "luxury" impression, I added gold accents to the nightstand, such as on the drawer pulls and furniture legs that I bought separately on Shopee.
For the nightstand design itself, I deliberately made a terrazzo table top that was not permanently attached to the bedside table. So the table top can be multifunctional as a product photo base too. For the drawer accent, I made a line ornament to harmonize with the existing furniture & room interior concept.
I also made the middle of the drawer body open. There are 2 advantages; namely to be more economical because you don't use a lot of wood, and so that the nightstand remains okay when placed in the middle of the room.
