Basically, this house's initial theme is a farmhouse with a touch of shabby chic. But actually, I really love the interior of houses in American TV series. Finally, Rumah Liliput becomes a 'mixture' because of the combination of traditional (vintage) and more modern furniture, from materials to color selection. Actually, we don't have a specific color palette for our home decor. We want it to be colorful, but not too bold. We want one color statement in a particular piece of furniture (in our living room is the red antique drawer). We still want one chair with a bold color, but we're still looking for it. Meanwhile, if you look at the whole room, there seems to be a common thread from each room. It's a hint of sage green. The perks of having a very small hpuse is that all the rooms are used and utilized. Especially the family room which is connected (open space) with the dining room and window nook. We try to make all the rooms functional for daily use, and comfortable to linger there, aka there is no reason not to "feel at home" :D All the corners of the room on the ground floor are our favorites. We can gather together on the sofa, relax in the window nook, or just sit sweetly on the bench. This super mini Liliput house is also the "basecamp" for the big family when they gather. Our family doesn't like too many displays, so most of the items displayed are items that we use every day, just arranged neatly so that they are still pleasing to the eye. All items in the Liliput house are accessible to children, from books to toy boxes.
