When building a house #rumabatari, we had many limitations, one of which was financial. This made us rack our brains, so that our house could still be aesthetically pleasing but with as little budget as possible. We have tricked out a lot of things in this house, one of which is in #innercourtyard, which originally wanted to use an ironwood deck, we changed it to conwood, originally wanted to make the middle part a fish pond, we changed it to a dry garden etc. etc. haha but yes that's what the journey of building #rumahtumbuh is, there must be a story 🖤

The prayer room is one of the aesthetic rooms in this growing house. Initially this wall was empty, then we designed it to be a prayer room by adding a mihrab. For the south side wall, we attached molding and mirror frames, with a touch of tauhid calligraphy on top. The ultimate renovation involves installing vinyl to make this room seem warmer and more comfortable. Tiny houses like Gioia House only have a living room area measuring 4.3 x 3 meters. To utilize this limited space so that it still looks spacious, we made this area an open space joining the foyer and stairs area. We also used large glass windows next to the garden and high ceilings to make the room feel more spacious. Apart from that, using bright colored paint and a bright room also makes a small room feel more spacious. With a building area of under 100m, I found the room without partitions so it seemed spacious. From the living room to the kitchen there is a sliding glass door. This sliding door functions so that the AC doesn't work as hard so it only cools some areas. But in everyday life the sliding door is rarely closed so the room is empty. [Before After Ala Zenhouse] When our house @zenhouse.id was finished, the interior was not yet fully finished. That's why we call @zenhouse.id a growing house. Starting from the foyer area, the first photo was taken in the first week we occupied it, June 2024. We took the second photo 2 weeks ago. It has started to be filled with shoe racks & benches that can be used to put on and take off shoes. Then the most fun thing, when we went to Informa, we found a mirror that was the same color tone as the house. Happyyyy😍😍😍 Continuing the third photo, the mirror in the bathroom could initially be lit but 24/7. So to save money, we replaced the mirror with an LED touch screen🥰 in terms of shape, it's different, you can check it on slide 4, @zenhouse.id family. Then we also rearranged the main room, which was originally still without glass and simple, so there were additional wooden accents and a full-body mirror. The presence of this mirror makes the room look more spacious😍 Then for the front area of the closet, which was originally a plain wall, we allocated it as a storage place for Ghaizan and his toy box.
