Here's how I gave our bedroom a refresh on a budget!
- Added lighting: I found these affordable wall sconces from Amazon and used some puck lights since we can't hardwire in our rental. Lighting makes your space look so much more high end and intentional!
- Changed out the bedding: since your bed takes up most of the room's space, changing out bedding can make a huge difference in the look of your room. I went with some affordable linen bedding from Amazon.
- Worked with what I already had: I didn't buy any new decor for this space and just shopped around my own home and styled those pieces in a new way.

Incidentally, my house doesn't use an architect or interior services. I was inspired by his Instagram with a house in Marrakech, Santorini, and the house of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The whole process was done DIY, trial and error because if you handed it over to someone else it wouldn't work, so I tried it myself. This is how it turned out.

Actually there is no special theme for this house. You could say Japanesedi, but there are rustic elements. Maybe someone knows better what the theme of my house is?? 🤭
What is certain is that the decoration of this house is in accordance with the owner's wishes, and of course prioritizes comfort.

I made over our entryway area with just a couple of small changes. First, I repainted the faux beadboard wallpaper white to brighten up the space. I also added a mirror instead of the shelves that were there which also helps to bounce light into this dark area. Next, to add a little bit of pattern I wallpapered the roof! It adds such a nice touch. The last thing was adding a new low pile rug which is easy to clean and perfect for muddy boots in the winter. This just goes to show you that some small changes can make a big difference in your home.

The reason I moved from the hustle and bustle of the city to the edge of town located in this old complex was to try a little slow living. Because of that, I also renovated an old model house into the Moroccan house of my dreams. In my opinion, the ideal residence is a house that can express the character and authenticity of its occupants.

The most aesthetically impressive room in my house is this room, originally this was a semi-outdoor dining area. The tone and style are deliberately raw and have a Middle Eastern feel. Likewise, sweeteners that have a natural and rustic impression.

The part of the house that I think is the most aesthetic is the semi-outdoor dining room. Why? Because this is where we all gather from eating, hanging out to receiving guests, that's why we put more effort into decorating this space with just decorative decorations, boho items, etc.

My living room is relatively narrow and narrow. I got around this by increasing the ceiling to 6 meters high and using large ornaments such as hanging lamps and macrame, the sofa is also 3
Seater so it looks packed and fits.
