I call it this because it is specifically for receiving guests where they can be served food and drinks here, because it is near the kitchen ☕️
2. Family Living Room - 2nd Floor
Now, this is the real living room where family members can relax without being disturbed by guests who come, the point is it's more private 🖥️

I want to spill one of the sofas at @faithfael_castle's residence, a sofa that I bought because I like it 🤭
How can you not fall in love with the shape & width of the seat, especially as it feels soft and feels like you're on a cloud?
Honestly, this is a sofa that was recycled from my Bestie's sofa, which I was planning to throw away because the upholstery was torn. So I took it home and replaced it with a more comfortable "Linen" fabric, not forgetting to choose a color that matches the color tone of this residence 😘

#RumahSeupil and its open space ☁️
Lesson learned from my parents' stuffy house with a short ceiling full of partitions, making a big house feel cramped. Even though it's more than 200m2... I'm fed up, I'm fed up!
That's why, my house which is only "a pinch" wide (93m2) is made hollow without partitions, with a high ceiling, and painted all white. This is a "cheat code" so that a small house feels more spacious, decorating becomes freer and air circulation becomes better. It's like camouflage, it's really magic! 🪄

💕Lebaran Time....
Honestly, there are rarely any guests at our house during Lebaran, because usually we go home or visit our elders 🤭
But still, the atmosphere is made a bit different. Like this time, my mom wants a bright, cheerful, and coquettish atmosphere. It also happens that the theme in this living room is quite free and mixed, even tending to be eclectic. therefore, the mother is free to express herself using any color 😁

What kind of house is comfortable? Of course our own house 😁
We don't have children yet and haven't prepared a room and necessities for children. So we share some materials that make the house feel more comfortable.
1) Wooden vinyl flooring. We use vinyl stickers. You can use stickers, or glue, or join them, depending on your budget. All have their own advantages and disadvantages.
2) Sofa with fabric cover. We chose fabric cover material so that it is more durable, not hot, textured, not slippery, and of course the price is relatively cheap. Maintenance is also easy, it can be removed and taken to the laundry.
3) Teak armchair. So that it is durable and long-lasting but still aesthetic. We customized the chair in Jepara.
4) Textured wall paint painted white. Actually, its main function is to cover the hairline cracks in the wall. Hahaha so we tried DIY.
5) Wooden coffee table. Wooden elements add a warm and comfortable impression to the room.
6) WPC with wood texture. It also adds accent and a comfortable feel to the room.
