Hello O!House friends, this Eid our family is going home, so the house will not have guests. Eid preparations include snacks for children and pastries. It's simple, who knows, next weekend there will be friends or neighbors visiting. If close friends come, we usually deliver pizza for friends to chat with.

SPLIT LEVEL is a house concept that has several floors connected by short stairs, usually with a height difference of about half a regular floor.
The unique and dynamic division of space makes a split level house feel different and unique.
This is one of the things that made us fall in love when we first saw this house, besides the sturdy building, the layout is also beautiful.
The Split Level in this house is located between the family room / TV room with the kitchen and dining room.
Then on the other side the stairs connect to the 2nd floor of the children's room area and laundry room.

We hope our dream house can reach old age here, it's special not because it's the house but it's a "place" where it's rare to have weather this cold in Indonesia, as an equatorial country.
The location is at the foot of Mount Tangkuban Perahu, with an uphill road, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but that's okay because this is what we were looking for :)
Born and raised in Sumatra, for dozens of years in Kalimantan, finally we (husband & I) agreed, this is our last destination.
For now, this house is really ideal even though the land area is very limited, but the space in the house has been maximally utilized.

From the start, I wanted to have a minimalist and simple facade.
So this facade was formed, with a Scandinavian theme. It is characterized by a gable roof.
To achieve a minimalist style, the dominant color is painted white with a touch of light gray in some parts of the house.
The decoration is also simple, just using a roof as well as decoration so that the rain doesn't get wet. The outer walls are painted in gray conwood so they look nice.
This house is not fenced because it is in a cluster environment, God willing, it is safe.

• Split Level at Himfari's House •
Hello O!House friends, Himfari's House is located on contoured land. To enter the house, you have to go up the stairs 1 full floor high. Once inside the house, to enter the main room you have to go down 3 steps. Meanwhile, to get to the working room you have to climb 4 steps.
We like the concept of a split level house like this. For us, the concept is unique and can meet our desired space needs. However, it turns out that the large number of stairs makes it difficult for parents when visiting the house 😆

Color pallet in this house
Apart from using white on the walls, use wood colors and motifs, light brown, dark brown and beige
Starting from wooden motif floors, wooden furniture. Then add brown color to the wall decor and cushion cover and matching throw blanket
Why choose a dominant wood color palette of beige, light brown and dark brown, because you want to bring "warmth" and "naturalness" into the house

My favorite room after the bedroom is the family room. Because here you can relax while watching TV with a gentle breeze.
The 3 items that are really important in this room are the 3 seater sofa, round table and TV table because they are really used in this room.
Spending time almost every day after cleaning up the house, relieves fatigue and makes you relax.

Having a rooftop has finally become a reality in this house. It's nothing, because the land is limited, that's why we added more land and coincidentally the view from here is really beautiful, plus the plan is to use it as a gym spot.

The process of looking for a house starts with wanting to settle in a city, so that you don't move around again.
Because at that time we lived on the island of Kalimantan, we dreamed of living on the island of Java, especially in Lembang, because the air was cold.

Initially we only bought a plot and then built it when we moved here.
Because this was built from scratch, everything must have changed completely, from the land to the house. We decided to use an architect so that all spaces could be maximized.

The living room in this house measures around 15.8m2 so it is quite spacious. Because this room is a place to gather with family, to create warmth we chose warm colors such as beige and brown. Because it's quite spacious, we fill it with
3 seater sofa, brown carpet. To decorate this room to make it more attractive, the TV backdrop uses wood-colored wood panels so that the warmth is felt even more.

The living room is a room that gets natural lighting.
Natural light in this room comes from the skylight next to the living room, this is the hallway to the other level of the house
To get natural lighting, of course we need windows, the bigger they are, the more light will flood our house. For houses that don't allow light to come in from side windows, you can make windows from above, aka skylights. It really helps :)
