.
The dining chairs are ones I've been using for a while, except for the Seven Chair and high stool, which I bought when I moved into my new house.
The Nissin Woodworking dining chair is a memorable chair that I bought when I got married.
At that time, I cut the legs along with the table to fit our heights, so the height was not right and I would have to buy a new one someday.
The Stokke kids chair is a Stokke 40th Anniversary Limited Edition/European Oak that I bought when my eldest son was a baby.
After 10 years, the color has changed quite a bit.
Regular Tripp Trapps are painted, but the anniversary model is made of solid wood, so you can enjoy the change over time.
It's expensive, but I really like it and wanted to get the same one for my second son, so I went looking for it in stock and got it.
I looked it up to tag it, and it turns out that the 50th anniversary model is coming out right now.
Ash natural, I didn't have it before, but it's a nice color.
If I were to list the disadvantages of Tritora, it is true of all Tripp Traps whether painted or solid, but it is heavy.
I push it around without worrying about damaging the floor, but I don't think it's compatible with uneven mortar or tile floors.
Price is the bottleneck for anniversary models, but painted ones tend to peel off, but solid ones can be used for a long time without getting old, so it might be a good idea in the long run.
I haven't been able to apply oil and take proper care of it at all, and to be honest, I've only applied oil once in the past 10 years...lol
I've been using it for the past 10 years, and it's durable, stable, and changes beautifully over time.
Even now, my second and third sons are still using it, and even if my children no longer use it, I definitely want to keep a chair like this with me for the rest of my life.
