📚 This library room — or study, as we call it — is one part of the house we chose not to renovate. With its old wood panel walls and vintage charm, it felt right to leave it just the way it is.
The warm light, well-worn shelves, and small details like the globe and my son's handmade art make it a quiet, comforting corner of the home. It’s not fancy, but it has a lot of heart — and that’s enough.

MY GREEN CORNER WORKSPACE
Hi all!
because I'm almost the only one using the table in this room, so I decorated it with things that I like.
I like the color green, that's why the majority of the colors on this table are green, starting from the tablecloth, to the keyboard and mouse.
I like plants, so I also decorated this table with artificial and real plants that are very tolerant of minimal light, namely pothos. Just put it in a container with water and cover the leca ball with a cover pot that I sewed myself.
I also like Japanese culture and cartoons such as Ghibli films, that's why I have lots of figurines of Ghibli characters, as well as several traditional Japanese shop Legos.
I also like drawing since I was little, so I display some of my work so it adds a fun and very personal impression.
I bought almost all the items at Tokopedia and Ikea. Meanwhile, the table can be folded and is custom made.

small study room
In the early days. Things have changed a bit now ^^
Most of the furniture in my house is vintage Aalto products.
It's difficult to find the same thing, but each one is unique and has a lot of meaning.
The desk is made of red linoleum. Vintage desks come in so many different sizes!

Sunday cleaning time!
This 3x3m kidsroom which used to be occupied by my 2 sisters is now empty since they left for University life last week.
To cope with the sad feeling of living apart, I decided to clean this space and freshen it up by vacuuming the floor, opening the window and let the air and light enter the room beautifully so it will remain pretty until they’re back on holiday! ✨✨

• Compact Study Room •
Hello, O!House friends, at Himfari's House there is a small study room measuring approximately 2.3 x 2.8m. To overcome limited space, here's how I styled the Study Room:
🩵 Installing a hanging cabinet on the wall as storage
🩵 Modifying an Ikea work desk that was originally loose furniture into one part with a built-in desk and lower cabinet
🩵 Designing a hidden desk in the form of a drawer as an additional table for children to study (if not in use, it can be closed again)
🩵 Installing a hanging lamp above the additional study table
🩵 Using wood-patterned granite for the floor covering finishing, so that the study room feels warm and comfortable
