Every house must have a favorite corner, and for me, this corner is the most comfortable place after a long day.
When night falls, I like to sit here with my favorite book, accompanied by warm lamplight and a calming home atmosphere. It feels like escaping for a moment from the hustle and bustle, enjoying some time for myself before finally falling asleep.
But it turns out, I'm not alone. My son also likes to sneak in here, leaning back while hugging his favorite pillow. Maybe he also feels the same warmth, that this place is not just a chair, but a hug after a tiring day.
Simple moments like this are what make a house feel more than just a place to live. Home is a place to return to, a place to share comfort, and a place to find peace. ✨

Transforming an Empty Corner of the Room into a Comfortable Reading Corner
A 5 x 3 meter room often leaves an empty corner that has the potential to become a multifunctional area. One idea that can be tried is to make the corner a reading room. With a little arrangement, you can create a comfortable and aesthetic spot.
To fill this corner, I chose a yellow IKEA armchair — POÄNG. This chair has an ergonomic design so it provides comfort. In addition, the yellow color gives a bright accent to the room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to relax.
As a complement, I added a multifunctional standing lamp IKEA — TRINDSNÖ. This lamp is an ideal choice because it not only functions as a light source, but is also equipped with side table and storage features. So storing books, magazines, or even your favorite coffee cup while reading becomes more practical.
With this combination, the reading corner is not only comfortable but also neat.
