This terrace area is my favorite place with my family. Usually we gather here just to have coffee together and play with the kids.
In this yard area, I deliberately added a plant, namely the Snake Plant, to make it look more alive.
For the walls, I also use rosters, so that sunlight can still enter the yard ✨

One of my favorite corners in my house is on this side terrace. To simply enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or evening, I often use this corner while waiting for the laundry to finish.
Initially, this area was an empty surplus land, which I finally decided to make into a terrace for sitting, and directly connected to the laundry area.
For styling in this area, I used synthetic grass, considering that it is easier to maintain. The decorations I used were also not too many, considering that this area is located outside the house and dust accumulates more quickly.

This multipurpose corner is indeed a winner.
It is located right near the living room, making this area a favorite corner in the house. Not only functional, but it can also be an inspiration for additional decoration for the living room.
- The treadmill is placed here because space is limited, so this corner is used for light exercise to keep the body fit.
- A simple shoe cabinet from IKEA, perfect for storing daily shoes while keeping the corner neat with minimalist decoration.
- A large round mirror is a mainstay for looking in the mirror when OOTD before leaving the house, plus making a small room feel more spacious and aesthetic.
Everything is arranged harmoniously, so the room remains comfortable and feels spacious. Small corner, maximum function ✌🏿

The remaining land in the backyard of this house was one of the factors that made us decide to buy this house.
The remaining land is about 5.5m x 3.5m.
Initially, the developer planted this remaining land with mini elephant grass, and we added some ornamental plants such as beautiful Caribbean banana trees when the flowers hang down, some monstera, horsetail grass, etc.
However, over time and when the rainy season came, we were quite overwhelmed to do the maintenance.
So we decided to make this backyard into a dry garden.
We also added a multifunctional wooden chair that can be used as a chair and table when opened.

These are my favorite corners, areas that I often photograph because the combination is right (in my opinion), and not often messy because it is not my child's play area. First, there is a corner of the living room wall filled with various poster collections. Second, there is a mural in another corner of the living room to fill the empty wall (not the others?). Third, there is a fresh kitchen corner and I also drew the curtains myself. Fourth, there is a corner outside the bathroom to look in the mirror every day since waking up.

In this final S6 mission, I want to share my favorite corner next to the Casaaksadaru green corner. A reading chair that is often used for watching TV and sitting and drinking coffee hehehe. This corner is the easiest place to mix and match according to our mood, you know. What's adorable is this pillow, black flower. Isn't that awesome!

It doesn't feel complete if you don't sit in this corner for a day, at least 5 minutes is fine. Especially after sitting in front of the computer all day, lying down on this lazy chair feels very different.
We also deliberately don't give this area much lighting. Just one small lamp and a table lamp so that the atmosphere remains calm and comfortable for winding down before going to bed😴

Hidden Mini Corner
One of our favorite corners in the house is this coffee corner. It is located between the dirty kitchen and the pantry. This coffee and tea corner has a window that directly faces the backyard. For this area, we use a mini bar table set made of wood from local craftsmen, a vintage wooden plate rack, a coffee machine and grinder in matching colors that still match the theme of our house.

My favorite room that I like the most right now at home 🫶🏻
In the dining room, this is the most fun place when talking with my husband while drinking coffee together in our mini coffee corner area at home.
From the beginning, I really wanted to make this house comfortable and feel like having a coffee at a cafe, I'm very happy that it can be realized so that we can be more economical and don't have to go out for a coffee, which is wasteful. The plus is, so you can talk more often together with your husband, not afraid or confused about having to leave the child out of the house.

As a family who goes home during Ramadan until Eid, both to our parents' and in-laws' houses, we deliberately keep the house in a clean condition. So when we get home, the house is still clean.
There are some cakes that we arrange on the dining table & family room to make it feel more like Eid hehe

Since the weather is starting to get hot again, to be environmentally friendly I often hang out here because there is a sofa and a fan. It's very comfortable to lie down while reading a book without having to turn on the AC. The fan I chose is minimalist so it doesn't interfere with the decor, instead it compliments my decor style. I also installed a task light for reading and I chose a unique one with silver accents so it can be used for decoration too. So I feel at home sitting while reading a book here
