This small garden measuring 5 meters x 1.5 meters is leftover land behind the developer's house which originally had no doors. Then we decided to install aluminum glass doors with wooden patterns and sliding to separate the outside area from the kitchen and dining room. Apart from using it as an open space for plants and rainwater absorption, we added a playground decoration for cats on the left side and as a laundry room for drying on the right side which we provided with a roaster barrier. The goal is so that it is not exposed directly from the dining room. The top is left open to allow air circulation. Then added another roaster on top of the wall and paranet half of the garden roof to keep the plants shaded, not exposed to direct sunlight but still getting enough light and air... sometimes I also put a clean chair and relax enjoying the greenery with Lulu & Popo ๐พ

BACKYARD GARDEN
It feels incomplete if there is no healing space at home. Yup!! This is my favorite place in my home. Sometimes even at 3 am, time doesn't feel like it's flying so fast sitting or finishing my work here. I deliberately made this backyard garden with a semi-open roof, so when it rains I can enjoy every drop of water falling and the sound is very cozy. During the day, the bright sun can provide food for my favorite plants here. You can also have a picnic, it's really cozy here ๐

Affordable spill material during backyard renovation ๐ฟ๐ฟ
During the second renovation project of Ryuto House last year, we really wanted a backyard area for children's play area, family gathering and relaxing spot, but with limited funds, we thought about the right design and of course with pocket-friendly materials and decorations to make it happen.
With plain walls with white exterior paint, it is enough to make this area look clean and okay to be combined with any decoration. The backyard floor, seating and planter box are made of cement plaster which is quite budget-friendly but still makes this area look quite okay. The roof is made of dowel wood which is quite cheap to add to the impression of a villa in Bali complete with a transparent roof. Some decorations that are quite cheap to make your pocket safe such as placemates, teak stairs, vases with unused wood twigs, hanging lampshades, straw hats and wooden benches that look natural. In our planter box we plant calathea which is easy to get and the price per stem is very cheap. Side garden, a small oasis in the midst of hustle and bustle.

This is a green children's room in the front terrace area of the house. This green children's area is semi-outdoor.
Because I both like plants, I used about 2x2m of land to display my plant collection.
For the floor, a teak wood deck is used. Usually twice a week I water this plant using a drip system, namely watering the plant in the medium until the water comes out from the bottom of the pot.
I also use this area as a place to exercise, such as yoga / simple workouts.
