Therefore, we have to have lots of storage so we can store things neatly. To make the space appear wider, we can remove partitions. You can see that on the 1st floor, there are no partitions between rooms. Apart from open space, we also chose small furniture. We had to renovate a sofa bed because it was too big in our small living room. As a result, from the results of the renovation, we made tatami pillows. One more thing, large windows or openings can also give the impression that the room looks more spacious, because the outdoor garden seems to be part of the room. Stairs - to infinity This is the stairs area to go up to the 2nd floor which contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom At first, this stair area was plain (like the slide on the developer's kit) and one of the areas that we immediately renovated was this stair area. We covered this stair with a TV backdrop, underneath which we provided a camouflage door leading to the storage area under the stairs. After we have been living for the past 5 months, one of the jobs we did ourselves (more precisely, my husband) was working on wall batten for the stair walls. During the end of 2023 holidays we are not doing holiday activities but we are working on a makeover of the stair walls which we call "PERSONAL HOME PROJECT" because of our own idea, our own work and of course with our own funds :))) The work process takes approximately 3 days, which is done periodically. Starting from making patterns, attaching batten plates, to painting them. And according to the target at the turn of 2024, our stair walls have been completed, and we are very satisfied with the results of our work. We prefer to say, this house is a tropical house. Because there are more tropical house characteristics than industrial ones. 😙✌🏻 Pyramid/sloping roof ✔️ There are eaves ✔️ Jalusi / nako ✔️ Surrounded by tropical plants✔️ To make it more tropical and/or natural, we complement it with natural decorations. All the decorations in our house are plants, or at least have plant elements such as flowers, leaves or twigs. And it's definitely not artificial. This is the stairs right next to the living room. The white shelf in the corner is actually a shoe rack. Then we added some decoration items to make it more interesting. The glass vase is from Ikea. We are already familiar with this vase. This is the @diemdibumi staircase to the 2nd floor. For this #tangga we used a wood colored taco floor and also a stair railing made of holo iron. I'm on the custom furniture team ofc, because #RumahSeupil has almost 85% custom furniture, from kitchen sets, shoe racks, under-stairs cabinets, to walk-in closets. WHY?
