For this kids bedroom sharing, I faced challenges because my two children have different ages and genders (3 and 6 years old). But it turns out, with the right arrangement, even the smallest space can still be comfortable for them to share and rest.
🌟 What I did:
1️⃣ Separate the sleeping area: The two mattresses are placed parallel, but still give each of them their own space to express themselves. The older sibling with his favorite blue and white colors, and the younger sibling with cheerful pink.
2️⃣ Simple decoration: Several small elements such as posters and reading lamps help add personalization without making the room look crowded.
3️⃣ Functional furniture: The IKEA KNARREVIK yellow table is a favorite, because it is light, flexible, and can be used to store important items.
4️⃣ Cozy carpet: The soft carpet allows children to play freely without feeling cold.
The result? They have a comfortable space to sleep, play, and even learn to share. ❤️
