Favorite Moment at Home 🌅
✨When is the favorite moment at home when you feel most relaxed after doing activities, namely in the afternoon approaching evening. After handling business work or housework, we like to enjoy the afternoon light from inside the house (even though the weather is cloudy). When the sky starts to darken, we can start to close the window curtains, turn on the ambience lights, get ready to pray Maghrib and then after that we can fully relax like watching streaming movies, sometimes reading books and drinking coffee of course ☕️ all done in the Living room with Popo & Lulu who are actually very active in the house 🐈⬛🐈

My kitchen backsplash originally used hexagonal patterned ceramics, but now I make over it according to my wishes, just using waterproof vinyl stickers with square patterns, my kitchen looks sweet and neat.

Before & After Transformation
Initially, when we first consulted an interior designer in 2019, my husband and I got a minimalist and efficient inline kitchen concept. However, over time, we felt that the design did not suit our needs (husband and wife) who like to cook and gather in the kitchen.
After much consideration, in 2021 we decided to change interior designers and completely overhaul our clean kitchen concept: a kitchen that is more open, functional, and inviting interaction between family members.
The transformation from a inline kitchen design to an open kitchen design feels more modern and airy, with a stove top in the middle as the center of cooking activities. The choice of materials is also made more elegant and timeless with the use of white Carrara marble as a countertop, giving a luxurious and classic touch. With this change, the kitchen for us is not just a place to cook, but also a comfortable and story-filled gathering space, where every dish made feels more special.

Coffee Corner ☕️
✨Utilizing the corner next to the powder room in the dining room area. In order to channel "hobby" as a routine every morning, afternoon and evening, we added a wooden console table with 4 drawers to store coffee machine equipment, coffee stock, glasses and an electric kettle. At the same time, this table is used for storage baskets and rice boxes.
✨To make it look more cheerful, I added acrylic shelves with colored decorations such as wall posters and colored glasses.
Hopefully it can be an inspiration in utilizing the corners of the house to be more functional 🫶☕️
