Good afternoon from ladder and voyer casaaksadaru. There's nothing interesting hehe, only one advantage, "abundant light"☀️
This minimalist hollow iron staircase was originally not covered with wood tightly like this, but because there was a hole in Casaaksadaru, it became like this. For safety's sake, if you're small, if you walk on the stairs, you won't fall down. This stairwell area is just occupied by two green plants and the walls are still clean. Hehe, I'm still confused about how to decorate it later. Look forward to it ✌🏻
2nd floor Voyer (hopefully the spelling is correct) which connects the main bedroom with 2 other rooms. Voyer is quite spacious and still quiet actually, considering it's only been here for 2 years hehe. There's just a little decorative touch, hopefully it can provide inspiration, neighbors.

HELLO AND GOODBYE VOYER!
When you enter from the main door of Rumah Semak you will find a voyer. an area decorated in such a way as to welcome or prepare you to leave.
Voyer is decorated with a custom made console table using leftover kitchen table top pieces, with hollow iron legs finished with white duco paint. We deliberately chose a minimalist design so that this small room doesn't look heavy.
Apart from that, we also display a round mirror with teak wood edges so you can see your appearance one more time before leaving.
For other decorations, we mostly buy at Ikea and at craft shops in the Bantul area, Yogyakarta.
What's unique is that this viewing area is also very interesting for mirror selfies for guests when visiting the bush house.

yes, our hometown is in Bantul, Yogyakarta. lucky because it is very close to the Kasongan pottery craftsman center. if you go to that area, you are guaranteed to go crazy shopping for aesthetic decorations which are actually exported abroad!
rattan vases, terracotta vases, wooden lanterns, we bought all of them directly in Kasongan. while we bought the mirror online from Jepara. for the table, it is actually a leftover piece from the kitchen table top and we ordered a custom bottom made of hollow iron finished with white duco paint.

my voyer as the first thing guests see when entering the main door, decorated with Eid al-Fitr nuances
which was originally themed with modern Javanese decoration, changed to a green and white Lebaran theme. don't forget to include natural elements such as ornamental plants and of course fragrant fresh cut flowers 🥹🥹✨
