As soon as you open the door, you are immediately greeted by this area. Yes, we designed this foyer as a starting point that gives a very warm & mid-century vibe to guests who come (and also to ourselves when we return home).
✨ The wooden slat wall was deliberately made to stand out — not only as a visual statement, but also to add privacy. So, the view from the entrance does not directly penetrate the family room. It is calmer, more organized.
✨ This table is multifunctional: not just a console, but also a hidden shoe rack. Keeps the area tidy without sacrificing function.
✨ There is a round backlit mirror for quick touch-ups before leaving the house, and some functional decorations such as a key bowl & diffuser for a fresh scent.
✨ Don't forget to also have green plants so that when you enter the house it immediately feels alive and cool.

An empty room to monitor the skylight and hanging lights. This room is open space so it can't use AC, instead, we use a ceiling fan and LED lights in the middle of the room. The accent of this room uses a wood-patterned wall panel which is also a camouflage door to the rooftop.

This is the front foyer of the living room which is often used to store fast-moving items. For the materials used to make the room more aesthetic, it costs around 4 million-5 million.
The items used to make the room more aesthetic are wooden wall panels and white wallfoam combined with a black multipurpose buffet to make it look warmer. The buffet was originally white but I covered it with black wallpaper to make it more hommy.
The selection of furniture can also be adjusted to the needs of the room, which can be chosen with matching colors or one theme.

Occupying this house for more than 2 years, too focused on other rooms, eh just realized that the entrance is still very simple, never done anything. Our master bedroom originally consisted of two separate rooms: one measuring 3m x 2.5m and another measuring 2.6m x 1.75m. We combined them so that the sleeping area felt more spacious and we could have a fairly large wardrobe without being cramped.
We chose a queen-sized bed, complete with a soft headboard to make it safer for the kids (and of course more comfortable for us too). On the side of the room, there is a custom dressing table that we designed according to our needs—with open shelves and a marble table to keep it functional and aesthetic.
The design of this room uses a lot of wood elements to make it warm, plus hidden LED lights that make the atmosphere even more calm and cozy. I didn't buy anything new this month, but here are some best buys that I don't regret buying:
- Ikea Knarrevik short table that I modified the top with round wood.
- Ikea Sandsberg dining table that was originally black, I added wood motif paperive. This table is cheap and super strong. I rely on it when I need a foothold to install a lamp.
- Arstid table lamp. This lamp is cheap but the material is really good. The classic model makes it timeless.
- Tridee wallpanel with butternut motif. This is a game changer in my house. One thing that unites and emphasizes the overall theme of the room.
