Even though it is a standard developer facade, that is what made us fall in love with this house 😍 because from the outside it looks like a minimalist and modern house.
We chose a minimalist design because we think minimalism is synonymous with timeless and clean. To balance the neutral color of the facade, we combined several materials so that our house has a strong character:

🪨 Natural stone walls to add a natural impression
⬛ Perforated black iron fence combined with wood planks adds a simple and masculine impression but still natural

‼️ Low Budget Aesthetic Material
To save budget, in this indoor garden and lounge area, we use two low budget materials:
✅ "Floor decking" made of wood and patterned
✅ Artificial grass

✨ Dream Kitchen Set: Checked! ✨
For my dream kitchen, I really wanted a Mediterranean villa-style feel—all white with warm wood touches, plus a ceiling with distinctive wooden beam accents.
I scrolled through Pinterest for hours (admit it, who else does that? 🙈) to find inspiration that really suited my heart.
Originally, the white part of a Mediterranean kitchen is usually made of concrete. But to save on the budget, I tricked myself into using MDF—and it turned out to be just as beautiful as it could be!
As for the wooden beams on the ceiling… I used woodplank or listplank painted with a wood motif. But once it was done, the result was exactly as I had imagined. Simple, but on point!
Together with an interior design team that immediately understood everything I wanted—no drama, no fuss—this dream kitchen set finally officially became a reality.
Now cooking is more exciting…

This home fence is a combination of hollow iron with wood plank variations. made when the use of wood planks on fences was trending around the 2020s.
we chose this model, because the design is still quite minimalist, suitable for the facade of the house, contemporary, and the warm element comes from the wood plank with a wood motif.

Aesthetic pocket-friendly material ✨
We use Conwood as the main material that appears on the facade. This material can be said to be pocket-friendly because it looks like wood, but is made of fiber cement. My house has limited land, and the building is also limited. It so happened that the developer gave us a balcony that is also a service area and drying area. To get around this so that we have outdoor space to sit, we use high bar chairs, and woodplank as a "coffee table" so that it doesn't take up too much space. Then because it's outdoor, we paint the floor with black epoxy, besides making it more elegant, it's also cheaper than installing wooden panel floors.

This room was originally a full open area when we bought a standard developer house. However, because we needed a laundry room area and also a living room on the 2nd floor, so we didn't add a room on the 2nd floor above it. The opening in this area should have been wider, up to 1.2 m, but because of a mistake during the renovation that was not monitored every day, the air hole was only 60 cm.

And we consider this room as an indoor backyard/lounge area with a fountain that we designed so that it feels like being at home but in a cafe.
