Lately, I really like me time here every morning after dawn while waiting for the sunrise and enjoying time with myself like journaling, inspired by the 5AM routine series on the Kokohome YouTube account. I really agree with the idea that the morning is probably the only time that we as mothers with toddlers have without distractions - so making the most out of it and enjoying ourselves is very important during these hours ✨
This is also the place where I collect my book collection, because until now I still prefer physical books over digital books hehe 📚

working space update..
Create a new working space for online work and study. I really like working places next to wide windows because when we are bored we can see the view outside, even at night the view is romantic.
I added a mendong basket for storing various cables and meeting equipment, it's quite practical because you just have to put it in a bowl. It's also very easy to clean, just wipe it with a dry cloth regularly.
Beige bed sheets provide a calm and calm feel, making it more relaxing.
Full blackout curtains can block sunlight during the day if it feels hot.

Welcome to my little corner of productivity: a corner of my room that I decorated into a comfortable home office. It is located next to a window facing west, so it is always flooded with afternoon sunlight between 3 and 5 pm. After 4 years of WFH, aka working from home, it is very important for me to have a workspace that is not only functional but also makes me feel at home so that it can keep me motivated and inspired✨💡
Like other parts of my room, I like something simple, but still with a touch of playful and cute. The dominant colors are a combination of white and green which makes the vibes cool. I added a few artsy touches here and there, not too much, just enough to make me happy and excited to create. It's a space where I can focus, dream, and create. All while feeling completely at home🏠💚

Let's break down the work desk design, with this #midcenturymodern concept. The initial idea was for a work desk that was like a work desk at grandma's house which was modernized by making the shape simpler but still presenting that vintage and retro soul.
The main materials use plywood and hollow iron. The raw material is finished using a laminate such as HPL with woodgrain so that the wood texture remains and the drawers are given a white HPL accent. Apart from that, the hollow iron material is finished with black Duco paint using the spray method so that the paint results will be more even and smooth.

As a true HP fan and book lover, it's perfect that Miniso recently collaborated with Harry Potter! As soon as I saw their collection, I was immediately excited and ended up with some of these cute items. Last Halloween, I decorated my workdesk area with Harry Potter-themed, wanting to bring the vibes of the wizarding world to my work desk😂 But instead of getting more excited about working, I actually wanted to rewatch the movie for the umpteenth time🥲🥲

I recently switched up my room layout, I swapped the position of my work area and bed. Lately, the afternoon sunlight from the window has been more intense than usual, so I decided to move my desk which was originally next to the window.
It feels weirdly new, I’ve never had my desk in this corner before. It’s located in a corner of the room with minimal natural light. However, I’m starting to like the vibe in this corner, and I’ve noticed I can focus better now. Maybe because of the new atmosphere and I’m not easily distracted by looking out the window anymore while working🥹
I think it’s exactly the change I needed to get my creativity flowing again~🎨💡

This is where I show up every day, in all kinds of moods.
Even before I moved into this house, this desk has seen many sides of me:
on focused, productive mornings, and also on the slower, more distracted days when I just sit and scroll.
I haven’t really decorated this area yet (it’s in an open corner in the middle of the house)
It’s still temporary, since I might move my workspace into a closed room eventually.
