Bathroom
For the floor, we had them add a pattern to the hexagonal tiles, inspired by the image of a classic American hotel.
The pattern was made by craftsmen one by one by hand, so it was quite a struggle to finish.
I like the unique counter-style sink in the center.
I really wanted to incorporate the smooth, rounded design.
Originally, I wanted to make the kitchen an island type with a rounded counter, but it turned out that it would be better to give up on that due to space constraints,
so the designer understood my intentions and recreated it in the sink.

The bathroom at night. With only indirect lighting, it has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The countertop, storage shelf, chest and iron bar are custom-made. The layout and size were designed with household chores in mind. The layout is bathroom → laundry room/bathroom → walk-in closet. Folding laundry and ironing can be completed on the wide countertop.

The bathroom is made of glass, so it gets lots of natural light. Our house has a retaining wall, so the bathroom is not visible from the road. This means you can enjoy a spacious bath without worrying about being seen. The window is frosted, so it's even safer. I was conscious of creating a space that would make doing housework in the laundry room fun. It's my favorite space.

We installed blinds on the windows in the laundry room. They are Tachikawa blinds, which we also use in the bedroom and children's room. We ordered the standard type of aluminum blinds. The color is snow white. The operation is cordless, so there are no operating cords and it creates a clean space.
