Our entrance display shelf is space-saving. It's at a height where children can reach it, so we can't put expensive or fragile items on it.
For scented items, we put unbreakable Buly matches on it. Just having them there gives off a lovely scent, and I like the fact that it has a deodorizing effect when I light a match before guests arrive.
And I recommend these moss balls. They are sold by standardproducts for 300 yen. You can buy them as a set with a small plate for a total of 400 yen. We welcomed a king bamboo into our home, but we also had many other kinds of moss balls, which were all very cute.
