I made French toast for the first time in a while 🍞 Whenever my son gets hungry, he takes eggs and milk out of the fridge and starts mixing them 🥛🥚 Then he brings them over and asks me to bake them. I get scolded every time... I usually make pancakes, but I'm out of flour and I'm stuck. So I asked on Threads, "What would you make from this?" and the comments were all genius. I did a reading session with my son, and the winner was French toast. It ended up a little burnt, but everyone loved it, so full marks! 💯 Burnt is a flavor. So is life. Think about it after it's burnt! My goal this year is to have a spirited breakfast once a week, but I haven't done it yet.
