I was looking for a chair for guests, and I chose this one because it folds up without having to move it back to its original place!
When it arrived, I was surprised to find that the seat was quite large, stable, and comfortable to sit on.
I also bought a cushion to sit on and to avoid disrupting the layout of my home.
It's very soft and fluffy, cute, and I love it!

I had always wanted to create a space like an apparel shop, and this corner of my dreams came true when I renovated my apartment.
Basically, it was inspired by the stores of the apparel brand Graphpaper.
There was a 3m hanger rack hanging from the ceiling.
I installed a wall shelf by vitsoe designed by Dieter Rams.
I made furniture that combined a shoebox, bench, and display stand.
The lighting was super bright spotlights like those used in shops.
Shoes were allowed inside.
By making it into a slightly crazy closet? apparel corner?, my criteria for buying clothes changed.
Up until now, I had always had the mindset of "I should buy clothes that I don't have," and I had the feeling of "I only have black T-shirts, so I should buy some in a different color."
When I put the clothes I had bought in this way into this corner that I had created as my ideal home, it just didn't feel right.
There was a mismatch between interior design and fashion.
To be honest, I was embarrassed as someone who works in the apparel industry.
But once I realized that, my preferences for the things that make up my personality became more organized, and I started to add a sense of "displaying clothes."
I think interior design and fashion are very closely related.
Because I have space, I buy unnecessary things, and because I have storage with doors, I end up buying things that are separate from my interior design.
By using open storage with as few doors as possible, I was able to get to know my own preferences more deeply, so I would encourage anyone who is interested to try it!

I hate to say it myself, but I think my house is unusual (lol).

In stark contrast to the apparel shop-like space, the living room was designed with a simple, modern feel.
I wanted a modern and symbolic lighting space, so I installed a ceiling light by Serge Mouille from IDEE.
I looked elsewhere, but most of these modern lights tended to be high-end, like those in high-rise apartments, so this was the only choice I had.
I like the structured design of the sofa, so I bought a 2-seater FSB model from Tres the Sofa Tailor.
I was also considering the SIESTA flannel sofa, but the seat of Tres' FSB is deeper, so there is more than enough room for two people to lie down, and I liked the cushioning, so I went with this one.
I'm still using the side table, the now-discontinued K24 by Tekta, which I've been using since I was at my parents' house.

Speaking of creating space,
I wanted to use it in a way that would make the space feel as spacious as possible, so I kept things to a minimum as much as possible.
However, this makes it look a little bleak, so I hung Hatano Wataru's washi paper as art on the walls.
It's only attached with a clay-like "sticky bug," so only the natural thickness of the washi paper adds to the space.
I feel like that alone makes it feel a bit like a gallery, and maybe even overseas?
Another important point is that I placed the sofa away from the wall.
If you place the sofa against the wall, it gives the impression that you are approaching the wall when you approach the sofa.
So, by placing the sofa away from the wall, you don't feel the pressure of facing the wall, and it feels more spacious.

This is the room where I keep my clothes, accessories, bags, etc.
I try not to keep too many things in the living room or rooms where I spend time with my family, but this room is just for me, so I don't worry about it and put whatever I like in it.
I'm not good at storing accessories, so I basically keep it in a visible storage space and enjoy storing my favorite incense and aromas.
