The entrance is being renovated in a Chinese style. We didn't have a porch light, so I had to walk down a dark hallway to get to the light switch in the back when I got home, so I used an extension cord to run the power supply and installed it. The motion sensor turns it on only when it's dark, so it doesn't waste electricity. These days, Daiso also sells motion sensors, which are very convenient because you can adjust the time, reaction illuminance, and lighting time! It was a little pricey, but it was worth the purchase.
