This time, I experimented with arranging Ohouse's tomato lamp like an object. It looks great even when it's not lit, like an object in itself.

I went through a lot of trial and error to get to the current form, but the breakthrough came from two things: "eliminating the closet" and "the sofa doesn't have to be against a wall."
When working on interior design, it's easy to unconsciously get caught up in theories and stereotypes, which often leads to compromises. In those times, it might be a good idea to question and re-examine that way of thinking.

When I'm making the sofa space, I'm conscious of the feeling of being surrounded when I sit down. It's nice to have a feeling of openness all around, but I also value the comfort of leaning your body into a gap that feels a little cramped.

I like the sight of a lot of cushions scattered haphazardly on a slightly larger sofa.

What I am careful about is the density balance.
Indirect lighting is effectively arranged while creating a contrast between dense and sparse areas such as ornamental plants and miscellaneous goods.

It doesn't seem too noisy when you look at the whole room.

It's good to live a minimalist life where you're conscious of your free space, but lately I've been thinking a lot about how good it would be to live a "maximal life" where you can pack in all the things you like.
