A year after moving in, the space is completely different to when we first moved in.
Using the furniture and accessories we brought from her house as a base,
we've been redesigning the room with the theme of a "modern and androgynous"
and "interior that you can talk about."
We laid a mortar-style cushioned flooring for the floor,
and chose tables and chairs with slender steel legs to give the space a light feel.
Even though we wanted to incorporate furniture from famous designers and manufacturers,
some of it was too expensive,
so in those cases we've been digging around for reproductions and thrift shops
to find more affordable pieces.
There's still a lot we'd like to update, so we'll do so slowly,
taking our financial situation into consideration.
