After thinking about what sofa to use in the living room, we decided to use a tatami mat!
I've always wanted a tatami mat.
But when I imagine having one, it seems so lame🥲
I finally found my dream!
It's a tatami bed, but it can also be used as a raised platform.

👦🏻You can sit here and watch TV, eat snacks, or use it as a desk to draw
👶You can change diapers or just lie around
It's nice that there are so many ways to use it
I thought I could use it as a bed if I had a few guests over.
It fits perfectly with the recessed floor plan, so it has a nook-like atmosphere ✌️
I want to put a togo on the other side someday~~

Also, the tatami mat is really nice, the design is black and cool, and the material is plastic, so even if you spill food or drink on it, you can wipe it clean easily, so I recommend it 👍

I replaced the lighting.
The old one didn't give enough light,
so I replaced it with a small ceiling light that faces downwards for when I'm reading a book.
I'm a qualified electrician,
so I can easily replace it myself when I need it.

Marimo moths have arrived in our home. Two!
Can you spot them, little one?
Now that autumn is here and the sunlight is softer,
I moved some of the plants around. 🍃
I love the combination of pink and green,
so I'm really glad I chose this wallpaper. 🍬
This room got so many likes when it was a child's room,
but now they've made their own room and left!

Small Japanese-style room 🍵
My daughter was sick until yesterday, so we spent the day in the Japanese-style room, so we moved the tree 🎄 to the alcove so we could watch TV ☺️
Do you think the Japanese and Western styles blend together nicely? Maybe ♡
