My room lately 🛋️
I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what to do because it just doesn't feel right 😕
I want to put something bigger on the sideboard and reduce the amount of small items 🤔💭 But I can't find anything big that I want to put there 😕💦 lol

Designing the temperature of a space with light and materials.
An inorganic steel lamp and a soft Japanese paper pendant light. By deliberately layering different textures, a balance is achieved between "openness" and "warmth."
The greenery isn't just decoration; it's a layer to control the viewer's gaze. It's placed with depth in mind, so that every view is picturesque.
The area around the sofa is intentionally kept rough. The cushion placement isn't overly neat, and the "faded" vintage rug retains a lived-in feel.
It's not perfect, that's what makes it comfortable.
But it's a space where you can truly love every corner you look. 🩵
It's not about "placing" things, but about "giving meaning."
That's the feeling I have when arranging my room.

My current home a year after moving in

Two and a half months after moving...
I made a Japan-style room in a 1K room by making good use of the walnut floor
I was conscious of the uniformity of the colors: white x medium brown (walnut) x black, and + green
I tried to use the same walnut color for the large furniture as the floor as much as possible (it blends in with the floor to reduce the feeling of oppression)
I used black for the metal furniture (black is a tightening color)
I added green with maple and Amsterdam king (contrasting color)
By matching the rug and bedding with the white wallpaper, you can make a small room feel more spacious
When it comes to wood floors in rental properties, people tend to hide them with floor tiles these days, but I like the texture of wood and find it calming, so I tried to make use of it as it is
I hope this is helpful for those who live in rental properties
