Sunshine & planties and art…oh my! Although the whole room doesn’t get as much sunshine as I wish, this corner and the gallery wall gets late afternoon sun. I like all of these decorative pieces in my living room, but some of my favorites are the Roman lady bust, the radio/record player, the floor lamp, wall art, plants, and the black horse statue. Finally... after three years of searching, I finally got my hands on a DF2000 cabinet, manufactured between 1965 and 1968, designed by Raymond Loewy, known as the "Father of Industrial Design"! ✨ I thought it would be nearly impossible to get one in Japan given its rarity, but it finally showed up at the end of 2025... It went for about the same price as a used minicar at auction, but compared to overseas market prices, it was an overwhelming bargain. It will require some maintenance, but it's a family heirloom. I still have plenty of DF2000 series cabinets, so if they ever come up in Japan again, I'd love to get them! 🔥🔥 Wow... I can't believe how long I've waited for this day...
