⭐️Living Room⭐️ Our Living Room is not too big and is currently filled with a sofa from my old house because the 3 seater is still good to use. The TV backdrop is designed with a closed wall panel to make it look sleek and minimalist. Because this room is our lounge while watching, we want this room to be as cozy as possible, so we like to put lots of decorative pillows, blankets, and of course there must be a carpet that makes the room feel immediately comfortable. Because the concept of my house is open plan, there are no dividing spaces, so behind the sofa, we put a credenza cupboard as a divider between the dining area and the living room area. This House, Our Story 16 years ago, we found this house—a new cluster house, and it immediately felt comfortable since we first moved in. Over time, the need for space increased, and the house began to ‘demand’ repairs here and there. Until finally, about 4 years ago, we decided to do a total renovation. Not without consideration, of course. We had thought about moving to a new house, but after calculating it, renovation felt more reasonable. The budget was more controlled, and most importantly, we could design the house according to our own needs and tastes. One of the things that made us fall in love with this house is the fairly spacious public facilities area at the back that can be used by the cluster residents—of course with certain rules. Plus a simple, low-maintenance, functional, and healthy design with lots of light and air circulation from large windows on each side of the house. ➖ My Dream Kitchen This small kitchen has undergone a makeover 4x in the 8 years we've lived in the house. Before moving in, the kitchen area was very small, there was only a sink and an empty area for draining dishes. It also has the developer's original orange nuance. Then we decided to increase the kitchen counter area to an L and replace the backsplash with the same black granite as the kitchen floor. The area under the kitchen table still uses under curtains and a shelf is added to store kitchen spices. (Slide 3) After 4 years, we started adding kitchen cabinets to make it look neater, and installed vinyl floor carpet so it wasn't monotonous. (Slide 2) Now, after joining O! House, thank God we can replace the developer's backsplash and sink and have the kitchen we wanted. Even though the process takes quite a long time, we enjoy and are grateful for it. Our house is not yet fully finished, especially the outdoor part. During the construction process, we were very selective in choosing house materials, the main reason being budgeting, so we decided to use affordable materials that still look beautiful and durable. For example, the kitchen shelves because our kitchen does not use upper cabinets, I switched to using shelves and added spotlights so that it still looks aesthetic and not empty on the wall. Also with a white console table behind the sofa, it aims to add a visual breakdown between the TV area and the dining table in the open space room. On the front and back terrace floors, we also decided to use a type of cheap ceramic floor that still looks elegant.
