As I started decorating my house, I naturally developed a romantic notion of lattice windows as I saw the various styles of houses that countless people had built regardless of the country. I wanted to live in a house where the windows would open wide to reveal a green forest, rather than the Korean-style sash windows that had to be pushed to the side to open.
