𝙽𝚎𝚑 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚛'𝚜 𝚁𝚎𝚜𝚘𝚕𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜💘 It's a New Year's resolution that always comes up, but for a happy New Year🎉 I decided to set realistic goals this year. 💗Living at my own pace At some point, I started to feel impatient and conflicted about having to keep up with others. A certain amount of tension can be a driving force, but if I get caught up in a whirlwind of worries and concerns, I become less myself. Let's stay centered and have our own thoughts and ideals, but let's filter out stubbornness and narrow-mindedness.

I love vintage crochet and kitchen crochet. As I spend more time in the kitchen, I knit things I need for the kitchen. I use the crochet I knit from time to time for table plating! Recently, I knitted a net bag for vacation and use it more usefully for the market!

Play with your food! At a recent artist retreat @studiostackhouse, my dear friend and mentor Leah Spurrier really got me turned onto the joy of collecting vintage dinnerware. She taught me a super neat trick for how to create a unique dining set up that will wow your guests and not break the bank. I wanted to share this brilliant technique with you all. Mix and Match sets— that’s right! Ever been out to a flea market and see broken up dish sets, solo plates and sad little loners that got lost from their family? With a little vision and creativity you can rescue and reclaim these lost battalions and give them a whole new meaning and life. You start by picking a pallet and sticking to it. It can take some time to create a full set but is totally worth the patience. Try adding some hand thrown pottery pieces for soup bowls, serving bowls, coffee mugs and other table top accessories to give your collection a rich, rustic European feel. This is our kitchen! The kitchen is not very large, but I wanted to create a warm atmosphere, so I used wood items! I love and collect antique tableware, so We also display antique tableware! I would like to display it when I buy a large cupboard someday!
