We organize all the cooking equipment, eating utensils and spices to be stored in the cabinets that have been provided so that the kitchen still looks clean and tidy. The island table is deliberately made large enough to be used as an area for cooking, cutting and preparing food. No partitions, no hassle. In the past, I used to be confused about how to make a small house feel spacious without having to do a major renovation. It turns out the answer is simple: open space layout. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are now combined in one room without partitions. Not only does it make the flow of movement more flexible, but it also makes the room feel more spacious and bright. Each corner has its own function, but remains connected to each other. You can cook while watching the kids play, or sit back and relax while still chatting with the person who is preparing coffee. The kitchen is in a limited area of around 2x2 meters which we finally emptied out a number of items to make it more spacious ✨ Initially the area near the sink contained a washing machine, which we then moved to the back area.
