Eid al-Fitr (Lebaran) is one of the special moments full of blessings.
Incidentally, this year we are absent from going home, so to welcome the special day we took the time to decorate one of our favorite open space areas at home #casadeharsa.
Simple special lebaran decorations make the atmosphere of the house feel more serene and warm. So guests who come will feel more comfortable and want to spend a long time gathering together at home.
Here are some decoration items that we added to welcome this year's lebaran:
✅ Wooden wall decorations with the words "Eid Mubarak"

We apply open space to four rooms (family room, dining room, kitchen, and indoor garden/lounge) on the first floor so that the house looks spacious, neat, elegant, and aesthetic. Most guests who come to the house are always amazed because the building in this house is built on 60m2 of land but looks spacious.
Here are tips for applying open space according to the Casadeharsa house:
1. Apply open space to communal rooms and determine the rooms that will be made open space, for example living room & dining room or dining room & kitchen, or living room, dining room and kitchen are made into one.
2. Calculate the space between rooms, furniture placement, and remaining space for activities/movement. For example, if you put a sofa right in front of the stairs, is the remaining space comfortable enough when someone goes up or down the stairs?, etc.
3. Choose furniture with a minimalist design and a size that fits the space of the room.
4. Choose a theme/color that is similar (has similarities) for the room in the open space area.
