French Country Living Room Rug Design Ideas
#2025올해의집 💕
My ideal interior design is somewhere between modern French style and a New York apartment.
This year, I've changed up some furniture and styling, and I think I've gotten closer to that aesthetic.
1. Living Room.
The biggest change in the living room was the sofa.
I boldly chose a brick color, injecting life into the otherwise monochromatic space.
I also moved the sofa perpendicular to the wall, rather than the usual arrangement against it, making it feel more cozy.
2. Bedroom.
The wooden bookshelf that was originally in the family room had nowhere to go, so I temporarily placed it in the bedroom. And guess what?
It goes so well together!!
The white bedding and wooden bookshelf, reminiscent of a European Airbnb I'd wanted to get rid of, complete the simple yet emotional atmosphere.
3. Family Room.
This is where our family gathers.
Because the bookshelf is filled with colorful books,
the other furniture is primarily white with neutrals like gray and black, creating a calming, modern feel.
What do you think of our home this year? 💕💕
🎄
I've been thinking about buying a Christmas tree for ages.🎄
I've been putting it off every year, thinking I don't need one, and settling for a small tabletop tree...
Everyone else's trees are so cute, I've even bought ornaments even though I don't actually have a tree.
I really wanted to decorate! So I bought one!🎄
There are so many different types, so I agonized over it, but I decided on the 150cm all-PE one from ohouse.
The deciding factors were the material, which keeps the leaves from falling off, and the rare color. The shape is also realistic, and I really love it.
I'm so happy I got it on sale for such a good price!🤍
I always thought I'd buy a few ornaments each year, but now I'm worried that I might run out by next year, so I'm afraid I'll end up buying a bunch.
I want to add more ornaments, so I'm planning to go out and look for some this weekend.🎅✨
